Bears were missing a couple of their best defensive players in the first game with the packers. And in this game they were without Odunze, Burden, Gordon, and Swift played with a bad injury. If you are going to comment, know what you are talking about. Oh, and the Bears scored 22. Not 6. Not sure why green bay would just "hand" the Bears a victory. I thought they knew that the game game goes on until the clock runs out. Jacobs fumbled at the 3. Doubs muffed an onside kick right to him. Backup QB fumbles snap on 4th and 1 in OT and they dont even get a real play off. Yea thats handing the game pretty much. Bears had 3 pts entering thr 3rd quarter last game. Had 3 pts entering the 4th quarter this game. But hey I get it, its your SB to beat the Packers once with their backup QB, and 2nd best pass rusher in the league out. Yeah you guys really went out and won it. You really took it to them. Down 10 under 4 minutes to play must have been thr gameplan.

I don't think I even mentioned the Bears/packers game until you brought it up. I don't recall boasting about that game. You seem awfully sensitive right now. I was talking about the Bears getting 11 wins and now in the playoffs when they only won 5 games last year. This thread has been about if Williams can be good or not. The packers only scoring 16 points is for you to go cry about to your packer friends. I suppose the Bears playing their 2 worst games of the year against the packers means they were just trying to hand them both games? You were bringing up Poles and how bad the Bears are etc. I was just laughing at your past comments. And why didn't your team stop Williams' two touchdown drives? You are the one who is butt hurt. I was replying to your past comments and how wrong you were. And as far as injuries go, Bears were without their two best DBs in the first game and 1 is still out and the other is playing injured still. If you want to start with the whole injury crap. And now I guess, the last four minutes of the game don't count to the packers fans. You do realize that the points at the end of the game count as much as any points scored in the middle of the game? Oh, and the Bears beat Cleveland, Dallas. and Philthadelphia. How did the packers do against those 3 teams this year? Did they simply hand those games away too? (No need to list out your excuses for those games. I get it. The packers are the best team in the world and only lose because they give games away.). And even if the Bears play GB in the playoffs and lose, I still will be optimistic about the direction Caleb Williams is headed given his progress forwrd this year. That, and how Ben Johnson was going to work out as a first time head coach were all I was looking at this year. I still am not betting on the Bears to plow through the playoffs this year. listen2me 23 1,977 Posted December 23, 2025 Bears had a good season. I thought they could be competitive and maybe get to .500, they exceeded my expectations. I can't knock the Bears there. In the 2 games vs the Packers, Id say Caleb looked mediocre. He can be good. He can make plays here and there, but as a whole is behind some of his peers. Nothing he has done to this point screams scary franchise QB. Not saying he cant work his way into a bit of that. He can make some plays from behind, but down in and down out hes still meh. Hes not even throwing 58% completion. Thats behind guys like Dillon Gabriel.and Cam Ward. Hell its behind basically everyone.

seafoam1 3,569 Posted December 30, 2025 270 yards from 4000 yards passing. Not bad. Nice second year so far considering he has had 3 head coaches and 4 or so OCs in his time in the league. Definitely above average at this point.
seafoam1 3,569 Posted January 5 Now that the regular season is done. Caleb Williams is the real deal. Confirmed. He has has up and down games like today, but his first year in a new system was a major success.. I predicted earlier they probably won't win a game in the playoffs this year, but, Williams will be just fine and improve as time goes on. Bears are lucky to have him. Moving forward, all signs are up.

listen2me 23 1,977 Posted 14 hours ago Lafleur is good but this team consistently lacks any killer instinct. I told all my friends to bet bears + 8.5 at half. Packers neglect to put anything away. Lafleur is a puzzy.
listen2me 23 1,977 Posted 14 hours ago They lost 2 games up 10 4 or less minutes left this regular season. And then that. Its pathetic.

WhiteWonder 3,047 Posted 4 hours ago I will admit that Caleb looks MUCH better than his rookie season... Ben Johnson is the real deal. I will stand by my statement that Daniels is better, though. He had his run with lesser coaching and far fewer weapons than the Bears have surrounded Williams with. Certainly have to credit the organization not just for the coaching hire but for drafting Odunze, Burden and Loveland... as well as Monongai to add to Moore and Swift... and revamping the offensive line in a big way.
