Dalvin Cook Now a Cowboy

Recommended Posts

just curious what everyones take on this is.

feels like one of two things has happened.....

1) Zeke could be done and they need someone to fill his role

2) Rico- isnt getting it done and they need someone to fill his role

Not sure which is the case, but I suspect its bad news for one of them

If they need to bring in cook to compete as a starter their season is focked. He carries name value only.

Simply, they let M Davis go, they needed more depth from players past there prime.

They need to get Deuce more involved in this offense. He is the only back that can make someone miss,

Could have been, but D Cook has no game.

It could just be a depth move, considering they don't really have a viable starter to begin with.

Throw enough mediocre, mid level, washed up RBs in the mix, see what happens...

Could be?  Zeke is burnt toast.  Going in 8th / 9th rounds...  could fall to rd 16 and I'm still not interested. And that was before Cook signing.

Nothing good can come of it. Roster clogging and disappointment...

I suspected at the very least Zeke would still be a good short yardage guy.    Cook also has that reputation so it is most likely Zeke who is on the hotseat.   I have not heard anything about how he has performed in camp so far.

WTF is Jerrah doing? Why not try to revive Myles Sanders or someone who has at least a little talent? What's his infatuation with "jacked", slow, AARP Running Backs?

Zeke, Cook, Cooks, - ghosts of fantasy seasons past are alive in Dallas this year. The only thing worse than the feeling of drafting them, is knowing one or two of them might volume their way to fantasy relevance and be a value.

I have this feeling that Zeke will be the new Frank Gore. Bounces around and written off every year, but always ends up being a decent value based on inefficient volume.

At least Cook should be fresh, didn’t get hardly any work last year. That said, very underwhelming RB room in Dallas. Dak could be a steal as they will need to throw the ball even more than years past

I am leaning even more into dak and the cowboys passing attack. It looks like they are assembling a RBBC of players who should be retired or backing up someone on another team as a VET presence. They are going to HAVE to throw when their rbs get them 53 yards a game combined.
