The Bad Hombres thread —another day another heinous crime in the Schocheting of America

Actually the real number is probably closer to 1% or less, since statistically they don’t increase crime at all:

https://siepr.stanford.edu/news/mythical-tie-between-immigration-and-crime

But hey who’s counting right?

Your study looks at immigrants, not illegal immigrants, so it is not representative of the recent flood of illegal immigrants.

Also, the immigrants who commit fewer crimes are from China and Southern an Eastern Europe.

Quote

As of 2019, immigrants from China and eastern and southern Europe were committing the fewest number of crimes — as measured by incarceration rates — relative to U.S.-born individuals.

So are you seriously saying that the police department has no statistics available on who they arrest?

It is common sense that police departments keep such records (and are probably required to by their city and state (besides the Federal government).

The anonymous source quoted is probably fabricated by the NY Post writer to give creedence to the claim that undocumented Latino immigrants are responsible for most major crimes.

I am only seriously saying that your statement "They know the exact number of the percentage of undocumented aliens that are commiting crimes," is very far fetched.

In order to know this they would have to know exactly how many illegal immigrants we have and they would have to have the exact demographics of every conviction and solve every single crime and never have wrongful convictions.

I mean, sure it is possible I guess, but I am going to need a link.

Or is that statement incorrect? If you revise it please provide a link to back up your revision.

Thanks.

Tenants of Aurora apartment complexes say reaction to claims of gang activity is putting them in danger

AURORA, Colo. — Tenants of two Aurora apartment complexes are pushing back against allegations that Venezuelan gangs have overtaken their buildings. Residents and community advocates asserted that these claims are overstated and are instead heightening the risks they face.

On Tuesday, dozens of tenants from apartment complexes on Dallas Street and Helena Street gathered outside 1206 Dallas Street with signs reading “There are no gangs here,” and “We are fathers, mothers and children.” They also chanted “Los buenos somos más,” which translates to, “There are more good people.” The demonstration aimed to dispel the notion that they are involved in criminal activities.

Jeraldyne Mazo, a Colombian resident, and her Venezuelan husband, Mario Viloria, shared their frustrations. Viloria said he's been facing prejudice while trying to get a job.

“I got my permit and my social. I’ve applied to many companies, and none has wanted to call me because of the xenophobia they have towards us Venezuelans,” Viloria said, speaking in Spanish.

The tenants reported that they had never felt threatened by gangs or others until recently. They said they have received threatening text messages and seen hateful signs posted around their complex.

Mazo, also speaking in Spanish, said that the media-driven controversy has attracted gangs from other areas to their homes.

“The controversy created due to what they’re saying has formed other gangs from other places that have come to our homes to write on the walls and threaten us," Mazo said. "What they are saying about gangs is totally untrue."

Additionally, tenants criticized CBZ Management, the company responsible for both apartment complexes, for neglecting maintenance issues. Persistent problems with leaks, bedbugs, cockroaches and rats led some residents to bring out captured rats as evidence.

They accuse CBZ Management of failing to address these issues and then charging fees if they break their lease agreements.

"I say the only criminal here is the owner," one tenant said in Spanish.

Some studies distinguish between documented and undocumented immigrants (these are the correct terms to use since there is no such thing as an “illegal” immigrant since a person cannot be illegal). I don’t. To me it’s the same thing. And I would note that most people opposed to undocumented immigrants are equally opposed to documented immigrants as well, since the root of the opposition lies in cultural and racial fears.

I don’t understand why your second point is relevant. Who gives a fock where they’re from unless you’re a racist (which I didn’t consider you to be.)

Maybe you should go back home to wherever your ancestors came from and stop telling other people where to live. They have just as much right to this country as you do, maybe more since they’re newer to it.

He should head to CA.  Timmay has plenty of under the table work. Always just enough to avoid paying taxes to pay for the socialist policies he adores.

A persons immigration status can most certainly be illegal.  Hence the official designation “illegal alien”.  So calling a person that fits the criteria an illegal is appropriate.

Yep it’s still legal to use that term. But it’s socially impolite and it’s not woke. We are trying to move forward to a more civilized society. Hopefully you’ll try to be better.

Yes. I have never hired anyone to avoid paying taxes. I have never paid an undocumented inmigrant more than $300 for a service which is perfectly legal under California independent contractor law.

And YOU are the one being delusional. Maybe you’ve never personally hired an undocumented immigrant (.doubtful) but every time you buy produce at a supermarket, every time you go out to dinner at a restaurant, you reap the benefits of their presence. And I could list a hundred other ways you benefit economically by their being here.

Interesting how you can cite the PRECISE amount to stay within "the law".  Only a POS that hires illegals would even know that number.

And spare me your bullsh1t "if you ever" blah blah blah nonsense.  You love illegals because it benefits your bottom line.  Hey it makes financial sense so why not exploit it, right?  Just be honest and ppl would t call you out for being the hypocrite that you are.

What’s this now? Every small business in California knows the $300 figure; so you don’t have to fill out a W-9.

Undocumented immigrants don’t benefit MY bottom line so much as they benefit this entire nation’s bottom line.

If they aren’t being counted as an illegal when arrested, then how could you possibly know?

It doesnt even matter. The rate is meaningless. They want you to climb into that rabbit hole.

"Does bringing in illegal immigrants increase crime against american citizens?" Is the only question that matters. And we know the answer is undeniably, Yes!

This is an inarguable fact. All you have to do to prove that it is true is find one crime.

But instead republicans get suckered into this debate where democrats manipulate numbers left and right. They use data that includes the worst areas of MS and LA and MD and DC and they use it to call middle class people living in areas where crime is a tiny fraction of those places, bigots and xenophobes. Why wont you let hector into your community?!?! You bigot he is less likely to commit crime than an american! I mean not americans in your subdivision or your community or even the community up the way, but still less likely than americans!!! Well also not less likely if we actually take out the fact that immigrant on immigrant crime is more likely to go unreported and unsolved, but whatever, those are just details you bigot! Well also we have like no data on illegals so like getting fingerprints and video and dna and stuff is not as useful so like he could be not even hector, but shut up already, just let Hector live here already.

Guys like tim are trash. They personally benefit from cheap labor and other flow through benefits and so they lie and manipulate to make it look like there is nothing to be worried about. They also personally benefit when real estate development happens to house all these illegals or government money flows in via loans to buy properties from them at inflated prices. Or it could be as simple as they get guaranteed govt rent from vouchers.

Their friends that are aldermen and city planners also benefit as palms get greased and local governments grow and TIFF funded projects replicate.

They live in gated areas with golf courses eventually and blame you for your car getting stolen because you bought a kia.

Ghouls. All of them.

A few things:

One, "illegal" is grammatically correct.  It is an adjective describing "immigrant."  "Undocumented," on the other hand, is intentionally vague and non-descriptive, which is what the left wants.

FWIW, I avoid calling such people "illegals" because as a noun, I concede that it is unnecessarily labeling.

Two, it's just silly to not differentiate between the two populations, or "personas" if you prefer.  The legal immigrant is typically a well-educated professional coming here for a white-collar job, or a student attending our university.  That would be generally your Chinese and European persona.  The illegal immigrant is, well, not.

That's not racism, that's demographics.

The humor is that you and SquidTard think you can just define and redefine words for the rest of us as you see fit.  It doesn’t work that way.  It’s presumptuous, dickkish, and kind of Authoritarian.

“Illegal” is defined in Meriam-Webster as follows:

illegal

1 of 2

adjective

il·le·gal (ˌ)i(l)-ˈlē-gəl

not according to or authorized by law UNLAWFULILLICIT
also  not sanctioned by official rules (as of a game)
illegality   noun
illegally   adverb

illegal

2 of 2

noun

a person who enters or lives in a country without the documentation required for legal entry or residence

Yeah you edited out the “sometimes disparaging- offensive” part.

I’m not trying to tell you what words to use. I’m telling you that I won’t use them. Because I choose not to be a rude offensive d!ck. That’s what woke is all about- the choice not to be rude and offensive to others. If you want to be rude and offensive I can’t stop you. I can only control my own actions not yours buddy.

The school shooting today with 4 dead doesn't count because it wasn't a undocumented immigrant or a tranny. That's the only time we see outrage and calling for something to be done among the usual suspects.

That’s fine.  If you choose not to use the word illegal I respect that.  Just don’t tell others that people can’t be illegal.  And this is where you and I disagree on woke.  Woke isn’t about people choosing to use their own words and phrases.  It’s about people actively seeking to change the way others use words, and in some cases goes out of its way to penalize or disparage them for it.  But you know all this.  And you continue to be the thought and word police.  You and SquidTard.  Birds of a feather.
