Yes please cite me the law that he broke.

Yes, what?  He opposed an officer, or no?  I asked if you need a definition of oppose.

Well no, I don’t think standing in a public area or asking a question would fit the legal definition of “opposed”

Yep “standing”, that’s all.

Cop:  get in your car and leave (told multiple times)

Campbell:  Stands there arguing and then hurries past his drivers door towards trunk just before being cuffed.

This on top of initially approaching within 10-12 ft? of the officers detaining TH, not immediately following orders to back up, and then approaching again a few mins later.  All of this in the video you posted yourself.

This is a good idea.

If you want to win the World Series, have your local police force arrest the other team's pitching staff when they get off the plane.

Lol he wasn’t arguing, he was calmly talking and asking non-threatening questions, such as

”how far back do you want me to be?”

”I just want to know what happened”

”is it legal for me to stand here?”

You forgot to clarify in your summary that literally before the officer is done saying “one more time, I’m giving you an order to get out of here” Campbell was walking away.  I guess it wasn’t really “one more time” then huh?

Sounds like you think Darlington should have been handcuffed for twice approaching Scheffler then too, got it.

You really should go do a ride along with your local police and try to obtain a police procedural statute manual for your state. Your lack of comprehension of the abilities and discretions of law enforcement is sad considering you’re a grown adult.  Everything you’re arguing against is literally in the scope of what cops legally do every day. I’m serious, reach out and go ride with them and ask questions.  It will be an enlightening experience.  Good luck.

I don’t think I should ask them any questions, might get lawfully handcuffed according to you

What an ignorant attempt at a retort and more evidence of your lack of awareness.

YouTube lawyer thinks multiple aspects of the traffic stop were likely unconstitutional, particularly demanding Hill roll down his window further after he had provided his license, and demanding he get out of the car.

Also around 5:30 is footage I hadn’t seen before, an officer talking calmly to Jonnu Smith, albeit making incorrect statements.  So this proves that they could have easily done similarly with Campbell (in fact looking at the timestamps during this footage is actually when Campbell had just been handcuffed so that must be who Smith is referring to when he says “why is HE getting arrested?” clearly referring to someone that’s not Hill).  Heck at one point Smith reaches near his pocket, @Fireballer probably thinks they would have been justified to shoot him at that point.

I don’t really want to see the guy fired but he really needs to get his sh1t together

Hack is right. Problem is the pensions for cops and others in FLA suck.

Ok.  But he’s the only one that will he held accountable.  Maybe he should.  But Hill riding on his high horse demanding things? Yeah, Fock him.

What were they for?  Seems like him being a DEI hire kept him from being fired long ago.  Oh well, unintended consequences suck. ;)

Thank God these fine officers yoked up this Liberal maniac before he could drive into a crowd of normal people. Thank you officers!

Bump for @Fireballer who oddly disappeared after it was revealed this officer was a dirt bag in prior incidents too. Some more details on the prior incidents here:

You literally highlighted an article about this cop acting inappropriately in other cases.  Your lack of mental acuity will not let you recognize that the Hill situation is not one of them.  Your view here literally flies in the face of the legal process.

And Torres’ attorney said he should immediately be placed back on duty. The stupidity of thinking someone is right because they are a lawyer is on brand for you.  Lawyers are wrong all the time. Sorry your attempt to “own” me was a fail.

But you know for a fact you were right?  Looks like the investigation is still ongoing, maybe you should let it play out.

Also would think his past documented history means he shouldn’t get the benefit of the doubt.

Past history of similar incidents isn’t a factor in legal matters?

Sure, OK.  How exactly do you think Torres’ previous history should factor into that day with Hill back in Sept?

Well not automatically assuming the person getting arrested was the one in the wrong, like you did in this thread, even bringing up his past history in doing so and being quick to believe fake news.

Just skimmed back over some of this thread.  The majority opinion from posters here except you and a couple others seemed to be that the officers did “go overboard” in regards to Hill.  I also forgot about the cop citing a nonexistent law, lol.

Majority opinion of geeks think it’s “overboard”. 🤣🤣🤣 Like I said, you obviously lack the ability to process objectivity.  NOTHING about the officers past history should be considered until discipline phase.  I didn’t “assume” anything.  I used my knowledge of constitutional law, and research of Florida law to determine that it was “probable” that the people approaching the scene were breaking Florida statutes.  “Overboard” …LMAO.
