BeenHereBefore 1,452 Posted September 16, 2024 He was horrible last year and even worse this year, 90 yards a game don't get it done in the NFL. I knew he was a bust when they drafted him.

Biggest trade win EVER.

BeenHereBefore 1,452 Posted September 17, 2024 How many Red Flags did Carolina ignore when they got him? There had to be a few and the eyeball test was enough for me.

Below are the seven players the Texans acquired for Watson: ALL while offloading a broken QB that commanded 250 million on a guaranteed contract. The texans GOT 7 players for hot garbage while the browns continued doing browns things and are likely going to have to go to salary cap hell for 2 years to get him off their books. No matter when they cut him he is going to take up 20- 36 percent of their salary cap when he is eventually cut. It is going to cause the browns to essentially field a team made up of below replacement level players from the WW for hundreds of thousands of dollars instead of millions. They are going to be forced to use practice squad players in the near future to get over this trade. There has never been a bigger trade win than the texans pulled off. And I do in fact watch football. OG Kenyon Green RB Dameon Pierce DE Will Anderson Jr. WR Tank Dell CB Kamari Lassiter LB Jamal Hill S Calen Bullock In its current state, the Texans should be quite happy with acquiring Anderson and Dell in this trade. Both players show great promise and have the potential to become star playmakers on offense and defense. If any of the other players from Houston develop into solid starters or contribute in key roles, it would be an added bonus to an already great trade. I don’t follow football super closely anymore but live in Charlotte. Leading up to the draft, there didn’t seem to be a clear consensus both nationally and locally on who most people thought should go #1. IIRC, there were some fans upset they gave up so much for the #1 pick (in part because there wasn’t a clear #1), but I don’t recall too much uproar when they actually took Young. The main red flag I recall about Young was his size, what else was there? So although David Tepper might be the worst owner in sports, I don’t really blame him for drafting Young #1.

I remember hearing the boo's from their fans when the pick was made, What they gave up might had something to do with it.

listen2me 23 1,825 Posted September 18, 2024 The Bears average .5 more yards per game than the Bryce Young led Panthers. The 2 lowest teams in league. To put in perspective the Steelers are 3rd to last and avg 84 more yds than both. Bears average 3 less passing yards per game than Carolina.
