And the production of electricity to charge the batteries is still not green.   Until we go nuclear, the whole point of the electric vehicle makes no sense.

I agree Nuclear is far and away the best energy source. Unfortunately, the NIMBY thinking limit it.

That being said, I would argue solar panels and energy storage have reached the technological capability to allow every house to be "off-grid".

I also understand the environmental impact solar has and nuclear is clearer. No argument from me. I just don't think the impact is as bad for solar as the anti-environment would make it out to be.

The air certainly seemed to be a lot cleaner for a few months there when no cars were on the road in 2020 😂

Being against stupid ideas is not anti-envirnment.  Even solar has a massive impact as the mining of materials and production and disposal of panels offsets much of their benefit.  Only a couple countries have made real strides in going green, that is France which went heavy into nuclear and Canada who went heavy into Hydro-electricity.  Countries like Germany who went heavily into the solar and wind route failed miserably.

Wind farms have got to be the dumbest thing anyone has ever bought into.

As solar becomes even more efficient it will become a much better source. It's still at the point where the environmental issues it causes are not worth using on a large scale.

How many times did you get to completion during your numerous listens 🤔

Don't blame you for the grade school deflection.  Reality must be setting in.

That's why I said household. I think every house should have solar and battery storage.

I don't care about the environment impact. Like everything else dig a hole in the ground get the lithium or whatever else is needed and fill it back in. The impact is over accounted for.

Eta - the technology is ready now.

I live in NC and will probably only vote in 3 races, Trump, and 2 Dems - Stein for governor (moreso a vote against Mark Robinson), and Jeff Jackson for attorney general who I do genuinely like.

3 for 3!  (I did end up voting in a few other races though)
