That pick by Darnold was representative of someone with an IQ lower than 80.

It was bad.

Hot take

2nd and under a yard is better than first and 10.

2nd and very short allows for the threat of a play action shot which makes every option more effective.

Seems like we finally hit the part of the story where after early success with no expectations, Darnold becomes a turnover machine and kills his team.

I have a question...

When did the Colts defense become the best tacklers in the NFL?

I can see it's going to be one of those nights for the Vikes.

They'll spend the whole game just killing themselves.

2 minutes 30 seconds.  Colts about to kick a FG on 4th and 18.  Vikings 2 timeouts.

They let it run to the 2 minute warning.  That's an interesting decision.  They should have plenty of time and, quite frankly, they're playing so poorly that saving time probably helps Indy more than Minnesota, but I thought coaches usually are eternally optimistic there and try to save time.

They never run out of ways to crush their fans.

Are you freakin' kidding me Reichard!??!

Ok. A 50+ yarder, I get it. But a 31-yarder???

Jesus Christ.  Now all the sudden, the guy can't kick.

My fault. He's my K in 3 of 5 leagues.

Now I have to hear people blow Saquon on the half time show because he jumped in the air and spread his legs.

Maybe Darnold finally figured out going turbo snap count on every play gave the defense too much of an advantage.

He's wasting the play clock and needing to go fast, so he says turbo and next sound is supposed to be the snap.  He must've done it 15 times in the 1st half.

Nope, he's still doing it.  Hey, Darnold, you think maybe you shouldn't tell the defense you're about to snap the ball?

Take it from a lifelong resident of Minnesota, the Vikings are an anomaly. They have the highest regular season winning percentage of any NFL team that has never won a Super Bowl. In the first Super Bowl against the Chiefs, they were favored by 16, but ended up losing by 16. As far as I know, Jim Marshall is the only player in NFL history to pick up a fumble and run to the wrong end zone. Gary Anderson not missing a field goal all year but missing a relatively easy one in the 1998 NFC championship. Favored in the 2001 NFC championship game at the Giants yet lost 0-41. By that time I was well aware of their history. Let's just say it was the easiest $200 I ever made. They were beaten soundly in all 4 Super Bowls. Ironically, the one that looks the closest, (lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers 6-16)  was actually the one they were most dominated in.

                           PIT MIN
First Downs 17 9
Rush-Yds-TDs 57-249-1 21-17-0
Cmp-Att-Yd-TD-INT 9-14-96-1-0 11-26-102-0-3
Sacked-Yards 2-12 0-0
Net Pass Yards 84 102
Total Yards 333 119

Other miscellaneous oddities. The 1969 Vikings: 12-2 (379-133) set a Super Bowl era record by outscoring their opposition by a 2.84-to-1 ratio, a mark that will likely stand forever, yet the Chiefs embarrassed them in the Super Bowl. The Herschel Walker trade. The love boat, etc They held their first ever training camp in Bemidji Minnesota in 1961. That was the only year they held it there, and I'm convinced they unknowingly had it on an Indian burial ground. Cursed for 63 years.
