You can only have a cap, if you have a floor... and vice versa. The thing the players have going against them is that the fans won't have sympathy for them. Sorry Bryce, complaining that you should be able to make $50M a year, instead of $35M (because there's a cap), will never be a winning argument in the fans' eyes. cmh6476 1,026 Posted Monday at 07:03 PM Looks like I'll be attending Tuesday's game, @posty. My son was on me to get to one last ballgame this summer before he heads off to college so he's talked me into Tuesday night. Which is kind of cool because it's Lugo's first start after signing his new deal. But I can't imagine the weather is going to be very cool this time of year

TBayXXXVII 2,552 Posted Tuesday at 09:19 PM I have a feeling the Pirates will not be trading anyone of substance. I can see Pham, Heaney, or a random bullpen arm getting moved, but I don't see Keller, Bednar, Cruz, or Hayes getting traded. If one of those 4 are, I think it's Bednar. cmh6476 1,026 Posted yesterday at 01:46 AM Acuna just got pulled from the OF in the middle of the inning. Something happened and he hasn't looked right chasing balls in the OF.

cmh6476 1,026 Posted 17 hours ago Latest News 8:37 AM | Rotoworld Ronald Acuña Jr. placed on IL Braves placed OF Ronald Acuña Jr. on the 10-day injured list with Achilles tightness. Advice: This move was reported on Tuesday night and is now official. The 27-year-old will have an MRI on Wednesday that will determine how long he will be sidelined. If he’s out for an extended period of time, it would be a major indictment of Atlanta’s coaching staff since Acuña Jr. mentioned after the game that he first felt the soreness on Monday after the game and convinced the coaching staff to let him play on Tuesday. It's hard to believe how badly this season has gone for them, I thought they would be one of the best teams in baseball when the season started.

Someone hit a fall ball down the right field line, and me watching from my third base seats I could tell he pulled up and didn't really get after it. I was like, "damn, he didn't even try to get to that." Then at least an inning or two later, Vinnie hits a gaper that bounces over the wall, and right after that they call time to send out an outfielder to replace him. It was weird as fock, and if it contributes to additional time missed I think the fanbase has a reason to be pretty upset.

Churio hits a stand up triple, starts grabbing his hammy a little(today they are saying it was just a spasm), but the team immediately took him out. There wasn't a thought of letting him do anything to let him aggravate it more.

MikeMatt 123 Posted 9 hours ago Hey Sux - Giants got a potential stud in Gilbert. Hope it’s not a PCA mistake. I do not see it online yet but they are reporting it on the Mets broadcast now. Butto was in bullpen and just said goodbye to now ex teammates.

But working around world cup also makes sense. Especially in a place like KC with games already scheduled right next door.
