The tigers blew a focking 15.5 game lead in ths division for crissakes. This is the least excited I've been about a Detroit team's post-season berth in my life. Both for the chance of winning and for avoiding the ignominity associated with such a dreadful collapse, which'd be brought up as a point of comparison for all eternity whenever a hot team fades down the stretch and misses the playoffs. Im disappointed in how the Tigers finished no doubt. And i dont expect much from them this postseason. But beyond what Ed(dumb)jr says, its really hard to get in. I didnt expect them to do much this year so any step forward now is just gravy.

Yeah even though the royals came up short, 82-80 ain't a bad finish and there's a lot to look forward to next year with the emergence of Noah Cameron, Carter Jensen and Caglianone coming with a little bit of service time under their belt and the starting rotation pretty settled heading into the new. Thrilled to see that boneheaded baserunning blunder. Detroit is a tough assignment in a three game series due to Skubal, but Cleveland almost stole it. cmh6476 1,063 Posted 22 hours ago I wasn't sure if this would draw enough interest to warrant starting a new thread about it, but 84% of KC voters recently voted to recall Jackson County Executive Frank White. I think he became bitter after KC didn't choose him as manager and let him go from TV. He has done all he could to block a new stadium initiative.
