Ron_Artest 1,506 Posted July 7 Trump gave a 90 day pause on his tariffs. 90 deals in 90 days they said. Art of the deal they said. They said the phones are ringing off the hook. He said everyone is kissing his ass. Bessent said no one called. 90 days and 2 deals. Now they're setting tariffs again with another 30 day pause. Will they go into effect? Will there be another pause? Is this all for attention? Is he manipulating the market? Pure incompetence?

No I've been pretty much right except for the chickening out. I have no idea what's going to happen. No one does. But my point is that the tariffs are bad for the economy and bad for the market as evidence by what has happened this year. Who knows what happens next. I have no plans but to hold on. What we do know is that if he keeps these tariffs on Aug 1, economy and market will suffer. If he tacos we should be ok. As I said, Trump's actions will continue to induce chaos and uncertainty on the global economy ultimately hurting growth and if he doesn't chicken out then we will face stagflation. MDC 7,407 Posted July 8 I’ve accepted that Trump is the Reality TV POTUS and everything he does is a stunt for attention. Eventually, he’ll make a few face-saving deals, claims they’re the greatest thing in history, and move on. Don just needs to feel important first.
