Israel-Hamas cease-fire deal proves Trump’s a better prez out of office than Biden was in it

Recommended Posts

Hamas was plainly only willing to come to the table at all thanks to Trump’s threats that “all hell will break out” if the hostages aren’t released before he takes office.

Hamas was at the table well before election Day boyo.  No need to lie about any of this.  Trump threatening more war has not helped.

You have us all convinced that it's just a coincidence.

The LA fires though are all Trump's fault.

La fires had nothing to do with Trump boyo.  No need to lie about that either.

Uhhhhhh, yes it absolutely has BOYO. Hell, it cost Canada their leader, we're on the verge of obtaining Greenland and Hamas is scared to death.

It's worked, all of it.

Trudeau was on his way out for months boyo, we don't have any money for Greenland and we don't need more war in the middle east.  Seems like it was just yesterday we agreed on spending less and no more wars.  What happened boyo?  Why the change?

Are we at War or is Biden just funding Wars? If so blame Biden because Trump had nothing to do with any of it. We had World Peace when Trump was in office. Am I wrong BOYO?

I wouldn't exactly say world peace but there was less war agree on that boyo.  So why cheer on trump threatening more war?  Why cheer on trump taking over Greenland?  We have homeless veterans and we're threatening the world and buying up land?  America first boyo.  SAY IT!

He's not threatening war BOYO.

"Wielding power" means to have or use power, authority, or influence over people or things.

Peace is what matters, I leave it to the rest of you to care about who delivered it. Maybe it was Trumps threat, or maybe it was Biden's begging....I do not care....

Shouldn't "all hell break loose" if our American Hostages aren't returned safely?

What happened to you BOYO?

No boyo I don't think we should start Ww3 over 7 hostages. Let's not get too emotional over this boyo.

BOYO, stop 🛑

There's not going to be WW3 because of Gaza. Please stop with the narratives and be honest with everyone.

This. Always better to be debating who deserves credit rather than who deserves blame. This is a good day.

That being said, a ceasefire is not peace. Peace will be far more complicated to achieve.

The promise of peace is the threat.

Inching closer to anything that appears to be conciliatory or accepting of Israel is when Muslims will rise up and foment war.

However there is also some talk out there that prior to the election, Trump told Bibi to delay coming to this agreement (which is essentially the same agreement that was in July) until after the election so that it wouldn’t help Biden. Right now these are only rumors. There is no proof. I hope this is not the case. Trump is IMO a shallow guy but I hope he is not shallow enough to allow hostages to remain imprisoned for the sake of winning an election.

If Trump is close enough to Bibi to make this happen then he assuredly delayed it to win reelection.  Trump has shown that he will do anything to get elected.  Having met with Bibi several times over the past year, I have no doubt that this is what happened.

Cultists will tell you it was Trump's threats to Hamas that caused this but Hamas has wanted a cease fire since Oct 8.

And you are promulgating the "talk out there" by mentioning it here.  You do so with no facts, no basis.  You forward a narrative which my be completely untrue, prematurely, having no idea of its veracity.  That is the height of irresponsiblity.  Get back to us when the "talk out there" is attributed to a source and when it is confirmed by at least one other named source.

Give me a break. This is not a news site. Of course if I was the editor of a media site I would never print such a story. But this is a discussion forum where rumor and innuendo are the norm here. I don’t see you objecting to reports that Biden is a pedophile, that Pelosi’s husband was sexually involved with his attacker, or any of the other crap that gets discussed here. So it’s highly hypocritical for you to come down on me in light of that.

Probably true, but you don't see me advancing those theories either.  You never see me being the one to raise such matters.

And reading is fundamental.  The article raises interesting caveats about the quality of this deal.  What it deos not do is support the proposition for which you cite it as support.

It supports Tim's assertion that Trump did something to move bibi to accept the deal, an assertion you couched as reckless without sourcing.  There's sourcing for you.  There is more if you are skilled enough to find it.

But you’re objecting to me discussing an issue which is being raised by far more reputable sources than any of those other topics. And you never objected to those, but you’re objecting to me. Obviously this one bothers you more. Which suggests to me partisanship and a double standard.

He has no issue stating that Kamala Harris smells like rotting fish without a source though.  FWIW.

So it was Biden's deal that he offered over 6 months ago that was finally accepted by Bibi after *allegedly* trump got Bibi to not accept it until after he won the election.

Quote

U.S. President Joe Biden then touted the deal from Washington, saying the ceasefire will stay in place as long as Israel and Hamas remain at the negotiating table over a long-term truce. Biden said his administration and President-elect Donald Trump’s team were “speaking as one” in the negotiations.

Looks like we can credit both of them and not just dooshily assign blame/credit to one.

These situations are where Trump is at his best. He negotiates from a position of strength. Biden and democrats are unable to.  They have to placate Muslims and radicals on campuses.

They worked on it together, which makes sense seeing as the transition is coming right up.

MAGAturds see "strength" in Clownzo when he's being his usual azzhole self and saying crazy things.

Maybe so. It would certainly be better if this is true.
Now Trump has a historic opportunity to try and turn this into something bigger. Let’s see if he can.
