Joe Biden pardons Anthony Fauci, Mark Milley and the Jan. 6 committee

Wow, thanks.

I mean, wow.

So we are to believe that 3 days before the inauguration, a committee headed by Comer concluded that Daszak and EcoHealth were rogue actors, and nobody from the government told them to invest it in GOF research?  Put another way, Fauci and/or others told them not to invest in GOF, but they said "ya know what, fock it, we're going to do it anyway because..."  [please fill in this blank, why would they do that?]

I'll give you a counter theory:  there was enough bad PR on all sides of the aisle that they decided Daszak and EcoHealth had to be the fall guys.  I presume that they assured them that they would be made whole in the end.

I’ve been saying Daszak was the bad guy for 3+ years, this isn’t a new development.

If there’s an American villain of covid, it’s Daszak.  Not sure why people are going after Fauci, at worst he’s a middleman.   This dude is the one they should be going after.

Please explain how Fauci is a middleman in this relationship

If it was all Dazak then when his name came out Fauci would have thrown him under the bus instead of defending him and the notion that we had anything to do with funding GOF research.

Because he still authorized the money to go to Daszak/EcoHealth Alliance, he just likely didn’t know exactly what they were doing with it.

Elderly Jan. 6 insurrectionists rejects Clownzo's pardon.

https://www.msnbc.com/top-stories/latest/trump-jan-6-pardons-pamela-hemphill-maga-granny-rcna188759

Quote

“Accepting the pardon would be an insult to the Capitol Police officers, to the rule of law, to our nation,” Hemphill, who had posted videos of herself entering the Capitol as the attack unfolded, told the Idaho Statesman on Tuesday.

Hemphill told the paper that she was planning to file a letter of rejection for Trump’s pardon. “I don’t want to be a part of their trying to rewrite what happened that day,” she said.

Dubbed “MAGA Granny” after videos of her at the Capitol circulated, Hemphill has since disavowed Trump and taken issue with his characterization of the Jan. 6 defendants as persecuted victims.“We were wrong that day, we broke the law — there should be no pardons,” Hemphill told the BBC.

Even democrats are speaking out about the murderers that Biden set free. One POS murdered an 8 year old boy and his mother.

In this model, EcoHealth is still the middleman.  Fauci -> Eco -> China, see, they are in the middle.

You haven't answered my question:  why would EcoHealth knowingly violate US law in distributing the money, if not at the behest of someone like Fauci?

Jerry.....Jerry.......Jerry-   Its all just coincidence....

Don't read into the fact that Faucci was engaged in gain of function activities for Corona prior to Obama saying it had to end......or that he was in contact and cooperation with a lab in China where that research was transpiring.....and all that business.....where the virus started....in that town where the gain of function was being studied?   pfffftttt

Coincidence.....  😑

Because people don’t always do what they’re told with money that’s given to them for specific purposes.  Daszak had been working with the bat lady for like 15 years, he was apparently pretty obsessed with bat coronaviruses.  Your question reads like someone being surprised if they give $10 to a kid to get dinner and they buy candy with it.

Because the money was still coming from him and his organization.   He deserves criticism for the apparent lack of oversight, just not prosecution IMO.

I love a good analogy; that ain't it.  There is a wee difference between a kid spending dinner money on candy, and the owner of a company putting himself and his company at significant risk because he is "obsessed with bat coronaviruses."

My question, while possibly coming off as snarky, was an honest one.  I'm looking for Occam's Razor here, and your bat lady obsession doesn't pass the sniff test for motivation.  If perhaps for some reason, the company got more money if the investments went to GOF?  That's a valid motivation.

Currently, Occam says that Fauci used them to launder investments in GOF.

Daszak seemed focused on warning of potential causes of future pandemics, and thought GOF helped do that.  So if he was able to identify specific viruses that he thought had pandemic potential, yes that could result in more funding.

This doesn't answer my question.  Or at least it makes no sense in response to my question.

Sounds like the sort of person who ought to be pardoned.  A person with contrition.  a person who has candidly looked squarely at her own behavior.  A person,  would estimate, is extremely unlike to get induced again to unwise and illegal action.
