Trump defies the courts, Sends migrants to El Sal Prison

Recommended Posts

Knew this was coming.

Let's see how this plays out but so far a completely lawless president.

This is not what the majority of Americans want.  Maga bootlickers will cry WINNING but America is not authoritarian.

They won. Elections are working and the Supreme Court are doing their jobs. And eighty percent of American citizens support this.

I am not enthused with ignoring the courts. I think they need to accept the role of the judiciary not simply for its natural role in checks and balances, but also for the propaganda.  Ignoring the courts gives credibility to the lefts "authoritarian" game they want to play.

I think it unwise to flirt with this approach.  Think of this also, later should the Democrats...or what ever party replaces them, hold power and the only means available to Republicans to protect us from that party is the courts....we surely would want them to respect it, right?

We cannot BECOME what liberals have.....we have to resist that urge.

For US citizens, yes, the courts should not be ignored.

For criminal and illegal immigrants - they aren't the domain of the courts.

Trump didn't defy the court.  He isn't sending any more illegals until the court case is resolved.  The court had no jurisdiction over illegals not in the U.S.   That is established precedent.

But you understand my apprehension here.  Its not purely the move itself, but how it can be weaponized to manipulate people.

Trump has already started the process of bypassing the legislative branch of the government- might as well blow past the judicial branch as well. His sycophants won't care. They love when Trump does the stuff they accuse Democrats of doing.

No he actually did defy the court order.  The court ordered the planes to turn back around.  Trump said no.

See. They are whining to bring the bangers back. Tren De Agua no less. These guys are on another level compared to your typical inner city bangers. How about we drop them off in your neighborhood?

I would agree with you if the courts hadn't become politicized, but they have.  And anything Trump does brings a lawsuit.  Nothing he did here was inappropriate and I for one am happy to have a couple hundred dangerous illegals out of our country so some lefty judge doesn't order them released in to our society again.  I think most Americans agree with me.

Yeah screw leftists woke judges. These judges have ordered children removed from homes where parents wouldn't allow their children to be put on sex change drugs. Why would I trust their judgement?

It's not about the gang bangers.  It's whether or not we are a country that abides by the rule of law.  Trump doesn't believe we are.

I would bet more Americans agree with me that we should follow our laws.

Yeah seems pretty cut and dry to me. Court makes an order. The plane is in international waters. Nayib Bukele laughs at woke judge. Winning ensues.

Right..... I keep deluding myself that the legal system can now be recovered...when it is laced with political advocacy.....😔

Not if he did nothing wrong.  I mean, they can hold him in contempt but he'll just appeal and win on appeal.  Another waste of resources.  It's sad that you're upset that we removed hundreds of dangerous criminal illegals from our country.

Yet to be determined if he did anything wrong.

It's not about the illegals.  We don't even know if they are illegals or criminals, that's the point.

Look I get that you love Trump but even RLLD said it, you gotta follow the law, and if you don't the next party is gonna do the same thing.  We're either a nation of laws with checks and balances or we're not.  Trump is leading us down the NOT.  That's the point.

And he's trying to do the same thing with legals too, the Columbia kid, the Brown professor and surgeon.

He's acting like a dictator and we should all be on the same page regarding dictatorship is bad.

I dislike Trump immensely.  You can look at the threads from the Hitlery election as proof.  I LOVE that he's driving you lefties who hate America nuts though.

I don't hate America, I love America, which is why I hate to see Trump destroy it.

You're a weird guy.

No, you hate America.  You want it to be Europe.  Some of us want it to be America.
