'Snow White' box office plummets, suffers 66% drop in second weekend

Following an already lukewarm opening, "Snow White" has plummeted in the box office after a little over a week in theaters.  

The controversy-laden film, starring Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot, dropped out of the No. 1 spot in its second weekend after earning just $14.2 million domestically, according to Variety — a 66% decline from its opening weekend.

Snow White set to lose $300+ million dollars alone.  Another $150+ for Captain Falcon.

Zealots and acolytes in the media trying to run cover and make it sound like it won't lose that much.  It's losing WAY more than $115 million.  Disney "accounting" is including $130 million dollars in revenue on this film when Disney+ buys it from Disney for $130 million.   

That's like having $40 in your left hand and giving it to your right hand and saying, "I made a $40 profit".

I really feel like Disney just cast the wrong person. I feel like if they wanted to change snow white to a brown female that there were far better choices. I would have fully supported Selena Gomez as snow white. She would have been legit beautiful, and the movie would have been able to pull fans from different groups of people.  She is also pretty guarded in what she says so the idea of her single handedly tanking the movie is remote.
