Hey @Strike are you going to tell @TBayXXXVII here not to depend on AI?

Why?  It's irrelevant. I'm working from the assumption that this guy does not play or coach soccer.  Whether his evidence is valid or not doesn't change that premise.  YOU are supposed to be providing evidence contrary to that premise but it looks like you're just going to try to deflect, suggesting you're having trouble finding it.  Or you have to wait for Billy to get home from school.

@TimHauck

Who's depending on AI?  I'm simply stating that I couldn't find anything, neither could AI.  We both came up with the same result.  The question I asked Chatgpt is the same one I typed into Google.  Both yielded the same result... nothing.

OK but WHY were you wrong about this? It’s not because you did anything bad yourself. It was because you got it from a source that deliberately lied to you. And that is a much larger problem.

Here is my contention: the mainstream media isn’t always accurate, sometimes reports news with a bias, but generally tries to be objective. Right wing media deliberately offers misleading and false information which they know people like you want to hear. So long as you get your news from right wing media, you are ALWAYS going to be misinformed. This won’t be a one-off.

This hysterical woman made a thread after the election saying "Gonna be a long time before I trust the media again!"

Pablo Torre and someone from his show interviewed his former coach, showing photos and videos of him playing.  Looks like it was a pretty low level team so I presume you’ll say that doesn’t count and refuse to answer my question.  It also shows photos and videos of him with the youth team he helped coach.

It talks about the reasons he left Venezuela as well.  He participated in protests against the Venezuelan government (and included videos of him  there) and was detained, so sounds like he had a legit asylum claim.

And here is a post from when he was sent to CECOT from the team he helped coach, which also posted several after he returned.

https://www.facebook.com/share/r/16gxEKQfCV/?mibextid=wwXIfr

He also played for the team under that league as well, this article from a Venezuelan newspaper includes a photo, as well as lists other teams he played for earlier.

https://eldiario.com/2025/07/18/rehenes-del-cecot-caso-jerce-reyes/

Translated to English -

During his time in Venezuelan football, Jerce was part of several teams — one of them being Caroní, a first-division team between 2011 and 2012; Fundación Atlético Maracaibo (FundaUAM), a second-division team between 2012 and 2013; and later Perijaneros FC, a third-division team between 2023 and 2024.

You don’t know Pablo Torre formerly of ESPN?

The guy is from Venezuela, so more likely that a Venezuelan paper (and you know, the actual team he was affiliated with) would have more info of him.

I’m not answering any more of your questions until you answer mine though.  (But don’t worry, you haven’t gotten rid of me, I’ll still continue to point out the many times you’re wrong and occasionally still bring up how you still refuse to admit you fell for fake news from CBS about the kid in North Dakota).

So, one more time.  Do you think entering the country illegally (which this guy didn’t) should be punishable by being sent to a terrorist prison?

It actually may be legit but I have no way of knowing if it is.  If you look at the sources I post they're ones the Tims can't question.  You think I don't see articles on biased right leaning sites that *I* think are legit but I know the Tims will question?  And I don't blame them.  So I don't post them.  And I don't post polls from Rasmussen.  I post stuff that we can all agree are factually correct.  But these guys post the most out there sources and expect me to consider them credible.  Show me the same courtesy I show you.  Is that too much to ask?

No I don't know who Pablo is.  Go read the "do you still watch ESPN " thread.

C’mon Jerry, don’t tell me you actually think they were “sipping margaritas,” lol

I didn't say that.  I personally think it is unlikely that they were drinking margaritas.  This comes primarily from my own research -- when we discussed this in the past, I asked if perhaps having a margarita was a social norm in El Sal.  You didn't answer, and later I looked it up -- the answer is no, margaritas aren't popular there.  They had some other drink I hadn't heard of, I don't recall at the moment.

My point is that Van Hollen is either a liar or a gullible dupe, as per the X post I shared.  HTH

I believe the guy who says he was his coach, as well as a story which contains photo and video evidence.

Again, much more evidence than he was in Tren de Aragua, and of course no one is trying to send him to a terrorist prison for playing/coaching soccer.

Pretty sure I responded.  You’ve never heard of water?   Bukele specifically called it a margarita, so you’re admitting that Bukele is a liar?

Yes, I was calling him gay as an insult.  Because he’s a macho man that wouldn’t appreciate being called gay. But you’ll notice I also added the NTTAWWT disclaimer.

Having a Twitter account makes a source legitimate?  Just want to make sure I'm clear on that, for future reference.

Not answering any of your questions until you answer mine:

Yes or no, do you think that entering the US illegally should be punishable with being sent to a terrorist prison?

Fock you man.  You just said that having a Twitter account immediately gives someone legitimacy.  I'll just assume that your stance if you're not going to confirm it one way or the other.

I didn’t say that. I’ll answer your question if you answer mine.  I provided evidence Reyes was a soccer player and coach.

Dude I didn't even look at the stuff in your links.  I took one look at them and said what the f*** are these links and moved on.  Just as I'd expect you to do if I posted a Breitbart link.  Which is why I don't post that.  As I said above there's a reason I post the sources that I do.  If you don't want to extend the same courtesy to me that's fine but don't expect me to waste my time on your links.
