2025 NFL Draft Profile - WR Tetairoa McMillan

Recommended Posts

Quentin Johnston 2.0?

I just don't feel good about him. His tape is him bullying undersized college CBs. I don't think he has the separation to be a WR1 in the NFL. That's not to say he can't be good, just not worthy of a 1st round pick IMO.

I have the Cowboys trading with the Jaguars for the #5 pick to take RB Ashton Jeanty. If by some chance they don't move up to get Jeanty, which is certainly possible, the could really take a long look at drafting McMillan. He'd probably go pretty good as the #2 alongside CeeDee Lamb. As far as this class of WRs I like Matthew Golden better than McMillan but the Cowboys might like his height better than Golden. If the Cowboys miss out on Jeanty they'll for sure to look at nabbing a WR with their first pick at #12. Whoever they grab I don't think they'll change the Cowboys problems. Only new ownership might change that to a degree.

Not sure I agree after looking into him more.  He has enough movement for a guy his size.  His 2023 tape is much better.  Not everyone he played against is 5'9.  Plenty of 5'11 6 foot CBs.  Not all NFL CBs are 6'2.

I understand thr concerns.  You dont want a big WR who is just a jump ball guy.  Hes much quicker/faster than Keon Coleman was last year.  But I could understand the concerns.

I think hes a 1st round WR.  Just not that stud top 10 pick type of guy.

I think Golden is the one being overrated now.  All college season people had Bond his teammate above him.  Bond came from Bama.  Golden came from Houston.  Bond was the better prospect out of HS.  Golden made a few nice catches in thr playoffs.  Ran a good time and people anointed him best WR in this class?  Seems fishy to me.  We see it time and time again.  Dude runs super fast time gets moved up the board for that reason.  Obviously Bond is now toast with legal trouble.  But all season he was thought of as the better prospect between the 2.

Reads like Mike Evans 2.0

Ditto. I'll take him. 6'5 and he ran a 4.49 40? He also had over 1,300 yards in each of the past 2 seasons with three years in a row of 8, or more touchdowns. If the Pats are forced to select a guy @ 4 that is not Carter, or Hunter, I'll take Tet.

I can see the Giants drafting McMillan. Most Giants have big Tets.

Supposedly the amount of Rb talent in this class is ridiculous. Some "experts" have speculated that a few of the lower rated Rb's might've done better to go pro last year when the position wasn't so deep.

In any case, Dallas is definitely drafting a Rb - just a matter of which round. And apparently, they can wait.

With Legette on  the other side, I think this is a good fit.

They had to draft Tet because Legette was such a disappointment. Legette is going to be the odd man out in this offense. Theilen is the WR2 and Coker the WR3 now.

I think Legette rebounds.  It’s going to help Qb young.
