Shedeur Sanders is being disrespected.

Who was saying he wasn't a first round guy?

The worst I saw for a majority of pundits was a late first round pick.

A lot of scouts said he didn't have first round talent.  NFL teams don't draft from Kiper's list.

So he had a million in cash in a Louis Vuitton suitcase at his draft party. He also performed his rap single.  Uh.

I follow Deion on YouTube. Deion and his sons seem like really good people. I haven’t heard anything negative coming from the teammates of Sheduer. I haven’t heard him mistreat women. He isn’t a bad student. He hasn’t committed any crimes. He’s not on drugs. I have never heard any of them being racist towards whites or ever using race as a crutch, actually I’ve only seen and heard the opposite. I think you all really are jealous and are making up stories about their family in order to excuse what the NFL did to Shedeur. All the draft did was confirm to me that the NFL is nothing more than the WWE. The prank call revealed the ugliness in the top brass in the NFL. The fact that so many of you are gleeful that this happened to a kid who has excelled when many children of the famous are simply struggling with their sexual identity or addiction, for you all to find fault in him because of his personality, (that you really don’t know) speaks volumes of your own insecurities. No GM or coach had the power to draft him? It’s a fixed rigged game.

Scouts also weren’t in his interviews. It’s the most important position on the field and standards need to be higher. He unfortunately didn’t meet them. Or quite frankly, come anywhere close.

I wonder who was mad at Manning Sr when he managed his son’s careers?

The two sons that went first in the draft? Why would anyone be mad with that ?

On SiriusXM Blitz (NFL channel).  Bill Lekas and Kirk Morrison.  I also believe Pat Kirwan said the same thing, not exactly 100% on hin.

They said Sanders was a 4th round talent? I’m not a college football fan but I read a lot about the draft. The worst eval I saw on Sanders was that he was a late 1st / early 2nd talent who’d go in the first because it was a weak QB draft. I’m kind of surprised to hear anyone predicted him to go even later.

He would of easily been a 4th round pick in last years QB class. And that's if he was lucky.

I thought he was a second round QB, he obviously slipped because he and his Father are both a-holes.

I'm sure scouts and GMs around the league were clogging up your phone line trying to share their evaluations of the guy with you. 😆

That’s my point. All this talk about how Sanders was really a 4-5 rounder in THIS draft is Monday morning QBing. Absent character concerns he’d have been a 1st round lock.

This is the same league that in the 2022 NFL draft, they took Kenny Pickett in the first round, and Brock Purdy with the last pick in the last round.

They don't know what they're doing unless the talent at QB is off the charts like last years' top QB picks.

They know what they are doing, it's simply just an inexact science is all. There is never a guarantee in the draft. It's simply a game of percentages.

I guess I should have said their accuracy is not 100% and they could be wrong about S. Sanders projected capabilities at the NFL level.

I agree, but even without the character issues he was only going to be a second rounder in this draft. He was over hyped by ESPN and the media, especially Mel Kiper. He was never a first round talent.

I don't particularly care about Kiper's list. I'm saying the general consensus from pundits and scouts was a late first round pick at worst.

Who are the "lot of scouts" you were seeing? Not saying you are wrong, just saying I'm interested in seeing who it was.

There wasn’t one team picking 22-32 that needed a QB. Late first round my ass.

It's completely unheard of for people to trade back up into the first round after making an early pick.

I mean the Giants certainly didn't do it this year. And it certainly didn't happen in 2024....or 2023.....or 2022....or 2021.....or pretty much every year.

Yeah, they traded. No one knew that was going to happen when his draft slot was being predicted, which is the subject here. No bigger try hard than you.

"People can trade up"

"Who predicts that"

"Many pundits do actually.."

Yes but no one predicted this....

Ian Rapoport did not report the Giants were considering Sanders when they traded up.

CBS Sports definitely didn't predict the Giants would trade up to 32 to get Sanders. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2025-nfl-mock-draft-shedeur-sanders-taken-late-in-round-1-after-qb-needy-team-trades-up-to-get-him/amp/

I mean mock drafts from experts REGULARLY predict trades and trade ups and downs and everything...

Never happened though...

Read ESPN or the Athletic articles leading up the draft.  Pundits mean nothing.  You or I can be a pundit and put draft evaluations out.

I did read them and many others. Again- the majority had him as a later first round pick at worst. Who specifically did you see that was saying otherwise? I want to know who I missed so I can add them to my rotation of reading at draft time next year.

Damn, with all of the  click bait predictions out there you would think Mooney and MDC could find the one that was right concerning Sanders.  Using wrong predictions to bolster your side. What a unique concept. lol.

Tardcore says no one could have predicted this.  He claims to be a fan of the team

I said no one could have? It’s click bait moron. There are thousands of predictions.  Duh, Giants need a QB. I’ll predict them to trade up. Real scientific.  I guess he had inside scoop. Oh wait , it was wrong. Can you find some more wrong predictions, like 99 pct of them?

NFL scouts don't put out rankings.  Stop quoting pundits they know nothing.  Go find articles where national writers will quote an actual real scout.

Why do you have hard on for what Kiper, McShay, or someone at CBS has for a ranking?

I’ll say it again. Teams picking 22-32 had no need for a qb. Sanders going in the late first was not going to happen.
