Several other jurors backed up his statement. I don't know if this was an f-up on the jury's part or the judge's part in declaring a hung jury, but it doesn't make sense to me. Isn't each charge taken separately? She lost the appeal to throw out the murder charge for the second trial, so here we are. And now, I'm back to not caring. I heard on the Crime Junkie podcast that the judge is ALSO involved with one of the families, to the point where one of them called her "Auntie" when he was asked if he knew her. And...the missing CCTV footage from places like the library, where she would have driven by. The footage missing is literally like two random minutes. They also have proof of her connecting to O'Keefe's home Wifi around the time they said he died, shortly before she started leaving him those messages. All of the deleted phone stuff, pictures, google searches, the guy who literally took his phone to a military base to "throw it away" and destroy the SIM card. I dunno. I think that's from the first trial. I don't think Brian Higgins has been called by the Prosecution in trial 2, so far. If they don't call him to testify, I would think the Defense will. Higgins has some questions to answer about his 130am trip to the Canton police department. In trial 1 he said he went there to move cars out of the way for the snow plow . Attorney Alessi is gold. Watch him closely on cross. He plays with these rats before boxing them in & killing them. Calm, cool collected compared to Jackson. Very patient & methodical. Today he completely obliterated Shanon Burgess today with all his lies & shocking details of what is corruption. Alessi is genious. He charges $1800 an hour but is doing this pro bono. I missed it too but it's been revealed from sources inside the courtroom that the jurors seating has been changed. Some were seen chatting during non testimony time. Could be not about the case, just chit chat. Bev had admonished the jurors on Friday for making faces during testimonies.This is my guess. A young jury, all in late 20s/30s imo is great for the defense. I think they can easily spot bs from the cw. CW is running out of witnesses, probably done next week.
