Hamas says they’re just executing “gang leaders”. Trump said he’s giving them police powers for the time being. Why?

So they are performing policing actions with approval, so no violation of the agreement.  Got it.

You must be directing this towards Trump. Abbas is there, Netanyahu is not.

Imagine what the GC righties would be saying if Biden explicitly approved of Hamas murdering rivals

It’s amazing isn’t it? This is why it’s so laughable when @Strike tries to pretend he’s a serious poster with integrity.

No.  But I'm pragmatic.  As if you guys give a sh*t about these people.  All you care about is b*tching about Trump and Israel.  The sources cited in the article(s) Tim posted aren't exactly the most reliable so I'm still waiting on more/better information.  But if you're asking if I give a sh*t about terrorists killing other terrorists, the answer is no.  So I'll focus on the FACT that 20 innocent people were freed today.  I hope this agreement comes to fruition and Gaza can get past their troubled past, but if they don't that's on them.  As has this entire mess been despite the two of you Tim's trying to place the blame on Israel.

Yeah I really don’t care what you think about this issue. It’s your usual uninformed bullsh!t so it’s not real important. I just laugh at your posts and your pretense as someone who should be taken seriously.

This is so ???:

- Israel is not there, so they’re not dealing with terrorists. Ok so I guess there’s no deal?

- Trump is there, with Abbas, Sisi & the Qatari Emir. So he is dealing with terrorists?

The logic is twisted like some bad hummus.

Hamas carries out wave of Gaza killings

>>CAIRO (Reuters) -A greatly weakened Hamas has sought to reassert itself in Gaza since a ceasefire took hold, killing at least 33 people in a crackdown on groups that have tested its grip and appearing to get a U.S. nod to temporarily police the shattered enclave.<<

>>

But Trump, speaking on his way to the Middle East, suggested Hamas had been given a temporary green light to police Gaza.

"They do want to stop the problems, and they've been open about it, and we gave them approval for a period of time," he said, responding to a journalist's question about reports that Hamas was shooting rivals and instituting itself as a police force.<<

Just 20?  Do you think any of those released by Israel were innocent?

I never answered you before when you asked me a similar question.  There are surely degrees of innocence among the Palestinians who were released.

What I'm confident is saying that the most evil terrorists released by Israel were treated better than any of the peaceful concert goers whom Hamas kidnapped, abused, starved, and often killed or let die.

Thoughts?

I'm confused -- for two years the leftist media has been telling me that Hamas did 10/7 for the good of the Palestinian people.  Why would they be killing them now?  The well-being of the people is paramount to Hamas.  Well, not the schools, hospitals, and mosques that they built their terror tunnels under, but certainly the houses who were complicit and held/tortured Israeli prisoners.  :dunno:

Hostages released... excellent. All Israel had to do was release 1,968 convicted terrorists. Doesn't seem like a great deal, but that's always been Israeli's exchange rate. It only incentives Hamas to keep taking hostages, which is why they took so many last time. Israel more than anyone should know that's why ya never negotiate with terrorists, but apparently they haven't figured it out. Whatever.

So Step 2 of Trump's peace plan - Hamas disarms and permanently leaves power.  Everyone knows they'll never go for that. Articles I've read indicate the US gave Hamas some kind of assurances that once the hostages were released, Israel wouldn't resume the war - at least in the short term.

So this is probably going to end up being a short-term cease fire.

It's a low bar?  So they're close but Hamas is just slightly worse?

And here you are begrudgingly admitting Hamas is at least slightly worse than Israel.  Given what I typed, which is pretty hard to argue against, your post is a tacit support of Hamas.

Just own it already.

Israel is a bajillion times better than Hamas, but whatever. They have to live next to these turds and don't want to see any more people getting blown up policing the focktards, but that is preferable to having civillians getting murdered and kidnapped. Hopefully this peace deal holds up, its the closest we've come in our lifetime, but its also still less than 24 hours old and relies in part on terrorists keeping their word.

It's not condescending.  Just clarifying and wanting to ensure I know your position so I don't misstate it in the future.

You've done at least two things here.

One, you've confirmed that you hate not just the IDF, but Israel as well.

Two, you've minimized the huge chasm in what I bolded, which is tacit support for Hamas.

Just own it.
