Based on the dozens, maybe hundreds of studies that were done on the mRNA covid vaccines, the primary risk came from the second dose, which was recommended only 3 weeks after the first. My son has had long COVID, and apparently signs point to that happening if you get COVID and then get vaccinated. Basically, activities such as running and weighlifting triggered his body into thinking he had COVID, and his body reacted accordingly. Some enzymes or proteins or some chit were the cause. Some people have been bedridden with long COVID. That said, the effects on the many outweight the effects on the few, so with it being a numbers game of lives saves vs. the few who got long COVID, the vaccines were the right call.
