Silver Spring isn’t majority-black (it’s minority white though).

I think you mean Prince George’s.  It does have some areas that are riddled with crime, but yeah, I was going to say that post was ironic since Maryland alone has at least a half-dozen cities/towns that are majority-black and not riddled with crime, Bowie probably being the largest.
