If you can't look at the video footage of these boats....CLOSE UP video footage....video footage of them dumping drugs.....drugs that have been recovered......if you can't rationally conclude that these boats are in fact involved with drug activity.......there is no amount of additional evidence that would satisfy you. One can't be more transparent than ACTUALLY SHOWING YOU CLOSE UP COMBAT & STRIKE FOOTAGE INCLUDING WHAT IS AKIN TO  SHOWING YOU THE INSIDE OF YOUR AUTOMOBILE THROUGH THE SUNROOF. You are dying on a hill of your on making KNOWING that your position is WRONG all in the name of going against a position you don't support. There is video of the boat occupants dumping drugs?  Link?

Even if we assume the boats are carrying drugs, how do we know all of the occupants are actually willing participants in the activity?

Venezuela plays a very minor role in the drug trade. If Trump were serious about drugs, then he'd be going after Mexican boats. Mexico is the biggest supplier of drugs in the United States. 

How do you know the videos are of boats from Venezuela?

The total number of US overdose deaths from all drugs in 2024 was about 82,000, according to provisional federal data. “He’s claiming that he’s solved the overdose mortality crisis” with four boat strikes, and “that does not have any semblance of reality,” Latkin said in an email. “The overdose crisis continues to destroy the lives of many hard-working American families.”

There are other issues with Trump’s claims. The White House and Defense Department have not presented proof that the boats were carrying either drugs in general or the “fentanyl, mostly” Trump claimed last week they were carrying, nor that the people on the boats were planning to try to get such drugs into the US. The Caribbean is not known to be a significant fentanyl-smuggling route, and Venezuela is not considered a significant source of the illicit fentanyl trafficked into the US. That fentanyl is primarily manufactured in Mexico and smuggled across the US border in vehicles – generally by US citizens.

I don't think anyone should be looking to control anyone's resources. That said, having a Russian/Chinese military presence in the Caribbean is untenable. The fact that both of those countries are trying to get into bed with a criminal that usurped the government election sould be THE MOST IMPORTANT conversation on the topic. Let's say the US wants to control Venezuela....China wants Taiwan.....Russia wants Ukraine. Both China & Russia want to be in Venezuela. I find it hard to believe that the US wouldn't be the best solution for the Venezuelan people & the region.
