Some decent EDM artists like Armin van Buuren, Moby, Duke DuMont, Royksopp. Nobody other than Iggy and Black Flag that I'd seek out. For a single weekend, General Admission, bare bones camping, you're looking at close to a grand for one person to attend. Plus then food, drinks, merch, and whatever drugs one consumes. Saw a punk rock festival in Denver last summer. 2 days, about 40 bands. Less than $250 for the weekend for upgraded, but not VIP tickets. Those included free beer for the first three hours (!), an easily accessible venue, no need to camp, much better music, and oh yeah I'm in a beautiful mountain city, not the middle of the fockin desert sweatin balls in the dirt with no access to a shower.
