Cool. This was a lot of fun and brought back so many memories of the 90s. And you did an EXCELLENT job commissioner. I learned the right way to do them.🎶🐊👻

It is supposed to rain like a motherfocker here tomorrow so I likely won't be playing golf. Assuming Jerry and shotsup make their picks tonight, I will get the first round of voting going during the pregame shows tomorrow.

20.7 Smash Mouth - All Star

Interesting that @iam90sbabylikes both of our playlists.  This was on my short list for the last pick.  I also was looing at Barenaked Ladies One Week, then realized that you picked that already in round 11.  :D

I'm going with a band that @BiffTannenmentioned for the future 2000s draft... but this album actually came out in 1999.  My wife and I played he crap out of this CD, and.0 since I can't have it in the 2000s, I'll take it now.

20.09  Creed - Higher

Wit the finals pick of the 2025 90’s draft - I was going to take last pick a goofy song (LUmp) but it was token so I was goin to takes equally goofy song Peaches. But I saw no one picked a The Bloodhound Gangs sone. Hooray off Boobies came out in 1999 (Just like MDC  :ninja: ) so……..

20.10 Along Comes Mary - The Bloodhounds Gangs

Take it away @BiffTannen

Great draft Biff and great job all that drafted!

Now that we are done sucking @BiffTannen ‘s cack for doing a great job as commish and running a smooth draft (and rightfully so) I also wanted to say great job by all drafters as well. We rolled a slow roll 200 pick draft in under 2 weeks. Made 200 picks in roughly 320 hours or average 1 1/2 hour per pick. A draft clock or timer was never even discussed- great job guys. See you in the survivor round !

Will get the board updated shortly and start the voting threads. I’m waiting to see if my knucklehead golf buddies are trying to play in the rain this morning.  One song I had in my pocket but didn’t have room for is on my honorable mention list.

One team in each group will be eliminating in round 1.

For round 2 and subsequent rounds we will combine the remaining teams and narrow it down by one team for each round.

Some music I thought should have been picked.

More 90s REM

Alice In Chains - Would and Them Bones

White Town - Your Woman - I remember this one maybe more because I have the CD.

I thought about REM -- they were huge in my college scene, but I graduated in 1989.  Probably should have grabbed a song.  Shiny Happy People would have gone with my list.

Also thought about AIC, specifically Would.  I'll say that I wasn't that into AIC during the 90s (got into them more later), plus I was generally looking for a more up-tempo list.

Them bones is probably the best song to open an album and I agree it definitely falls in the top 200 but I also bet you and others can certainly pick out many many songs not drafted.

Alice in Chains - their album Dirt is something I'm still currently listening to so it's easy for me to think of.

I was surprised no one picked would or them bones also, but went w Rotten Apple instead. both of those were possibilties. Dirt is my favorite album overall by a grunge band. AiC is the only band from that scene that I listen to consistently.

Same. I use to listen to Pearl Jam and Nirvana a lot when their songs were first released, but haven't since that time period when they were current. AIC I listen to when I drive to work or home from work some days. I also currently have Metallica's first 5 CDs, 3 AC/DC CDs (Back in Black, Razor's Edge, and Who Made Who), 3 or 4 Pink Floyd full CDs, along with some other stuff and several individual songs I like on a flash drive in my Jeep. I like music still like New Order, Tears for Fears. I use to listen to the Cure a lot back when I was in college, not so much now. I listen to a bit of Depeche Mode once in a while.

I go back to The Cure every once in awhile. Their last album was good.

Imo REM was mainstream in the 90s. Love them , 80s were great but by the 90s I wouldn’t categorize them as alt rock
