BunnysBastatrds 2,579 Posted Monday at 01:53 AM I should have went with Hole-Doll Parts. Linger was my sad breakup song for the 90s. Also wanted a few songs that were on the edge of being alternative. Like Marilyn Mansons”Dope Show”.

Found out the other day that Marilyn throat punched Andy D!ck at a bar. Seth Green story with Bill Maher and was kinda funny and on YT about it.

cmh6476 1,107 Posted yesterday at 12:48 AM Ok, I went back and counted drafted songs by frafters whose songs which probably would have been on my list. Although I didn't feel like a lot of my songs go sniped. Nutshell, Plush, Hungerstrike, No Rain, Self-Esteem, and Glycerine were some I would have liked to have had. shotsup - 7 jerry - 11 bunny - 11 5-points - 10 herbivore - 11 BHB - 17 Helltoupee - 7 Biff - 17 RHR - 6 Those rankings will probably guide my voting as we progress, and if they're close I'll take a deeper look to make a decision. I get a lot of this is just listener preference, and not everyone likes the songs I enjoy the most from this era. There's some bands I haven't listened to as much, and I do intend to go through most of this list, listen to the songs I don't recognize off the bat and see if they are worth an add to my daily playlist. Screaming Trees I haven't given much time to, and didn't recognize some like Buffalo Tom, Pennywise or Big Audio Dynamite. All that said, I'll likely be adding to my already included 3,576 tracks Some songs I'm surprised no one drafted would be Head Like a Hole, Jane Says, and then some bands like The Flys, Kid Rock, Limp Bizkit, The Rentals, Soul Coughing, Superdrag, and Tripping Daisy. I wonder if some of the selections are more regionally known. Built to Spill comes to mind but I'm familiar with them, but a band like Dispatch that's probably better known in the Northeast and only more recently becoming more popular across the country. A band for me in that sense would be The Urge (StL), who kind of had a following with the 311 crowd (Omaha) when I was in high school. I really appreciate all the effort that went into this and to end, how about some...

This is another I had on deck and ended up going undrafted.

Gepetto 1,444 Posted yesterday at 03:20 AM Today on 90s on SiriusXM I heard Tom Petty - Free Fallin (1990) - but I wouldn't count that for this draft since it's rock. I also heard Snow - Informer, great song that I have on my usb playlist. Not sure if that is considered alternative rock. It's 1990s though. Finally heard Sixpence None The Richer - Kiss Me (1999) I saw The Sundays were taken in this draft, but think 10,000 Maniacs didn't have a song chosen. Will be interesting to see if and where it gets picked. Did this song ever get drafted?

Maybe you've heard the song, if you listen to it: released in January 1997 in the US AI Overview "Your Woman" by White Town was a massive hit, reaching number one on the UK Singles Chart and charting internationally in countries like Spain and Iceland. It was a significant success in the US as well, peaking at number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was also notable for being one of the first major hits recorded entirely in a bedroom studio, which contributed to its "novelty hit" status for some listeners.
