All this could be avoided if the US would just teach the rest of the world the art of modern monetary theory. 

It's really quite simple.
Create your own currency, borrow it to yourselves, then pay off the resulting debt by creating/printing more of it.

Argentina does this already. Now we are injecting  20 billion of our dollars into their economy. 

They had like 30% inflation last year
