Frozenbeernuts 2,330 Posted Friday at 08:28 PM Waking up early can be bad enough. Why would you choose to torture yourself over and over again?

Strike 5,973 Posted Friday at 08:30 PM I don't use snooze every day but sometimes I just need a more gradual wakening. So I'll hit snooze and start waking up as I lay there. Sometimes I turn on sports talk radio while I'm waking up until the next alarm sounds. And sometimes I make it a game - I wake your Mom up and tell her she needs to give me a BJ and if she finishes me off before the snooze goes off again I'll give her her teeth back.
thegeneral 3,546 Posted Friday at 08:40 PM This is weird but ever since the Covid times of working from home I really don’t set an alarm and I still get up at pretty much the same time. I typically just wake up around 6 no matter what despite what time I fell asleep. Occasionally need to wake up crazy early for a flight, talking like 3 am. I set an alarm for that and I will still wake up before the alarm goes off. I think for paranoia that I will oversleep. I don’t really remember having the alarm wake me up for quite a long time. It kind of sucks on weekends TBH
weepaws 3,312 Posted Friday at 08:41 PM Alarm goes off, hit the snooze, I read my Bible and when the alarm goes off again it’s go time. I see no problem with it. 1
listen2me 23 1,948 Posted Friday at 09:53 PM Not opposed to it if you are afraid you will fall back alseep accidentally. I dont use snooze. I wake up pretty early. I figure if I wanted 15 more minutes of sleep id just set my alarm 15 minutes later. Seems logical to me.

That's interesting because your mom just likes it in the butt. No need to worry about the teefs.

Frozenbeernuts 2,330 Posted yesterday at 08:14 AM Why don't you people just set your alarm later then?
WhiteWonder 2,904 Posted 9 hours ago As someone already mentioned, some people don’t like to immediately jump out of bed when the alarm sounds. So if you’re worried you might doze off again, hitting snooze is just a good “oh shiit” button. usually when I hit it I end up turning it off 10 min later when I do get up and it never winds up going off again on its own.
