For once I agree with squistion.

Like the food pantry yoghurt two days past its 'best used by' date, I find the premise of this thread to be in bad taste.

The shutdown may be necessary for the Dems to vent and for Chuck Shumer to get back in good graces with the radical leftoid voters who are going to toss him on his ass anyways, but its not like I'm happy with the many repercussions of the shutdown, such as how it affects ordinary people's food access, travel safety, necessary paperwork, etc
