He was also reportedly posting anti-Republican, anti-MAGA content on a seldom-used X account. This is why they didn’t want to identify the shooter… It completely destroys the FAKE leftist narrative of violent white Trump supporters wreaking havoc in America. The person of interest detained in the investigation into the Brown University deadly mass shooting is a former infantry soldier in the U.S. Army.

Benjamin Erickson's current social media shows he is interested in gender equity and support for refugees and migrants. He wrote about transferring to Brown University for the Fall 2025 semester.
