Yes I understand how polls work.  But as Gutter pointed out, a “% increase” can be misleading if it’s off of a low baseline.  Also let’s think about the question here - “do you approve of the handling of Venezuela?” Before a few days ago, there really wasn’t an any “handling” going on, we were just blowing up boats but they weren’t all tied to Venezuela, so of course most libs would not say they approve of that.  It makes sense that more than that, but still a small number, would approve of arresting a corrupt leader.

I want Trump out of power. Illegally kidnapping him and taking him to another country to stand trial under their laws is not something I would approve of though.

This was an illegal action under international law. It sets a terrible precedent and opens the US up to a lot of negative possibilities from our adversaries.

I’m glad that Rubio said we aren’t gonna try to run Venezuela or take all their oil. I hope that is true and that Trump doesn’t get mad at little Marco for contradicting him and double down on trying to govern Venezuela.

I'll bite.  Maduro being ousted is not the problem here.  The problems are we broke international law on the process and we've stated that we're going to run Venezuela and take the oil.  That is something that neither side wanted.

So as I mentioned below, it would make sense that more Dems would approve of capturing a corrupt leader alive, than randomly blowing up boats, correct?  And considering that number is still very low, that certainly isn’t indicative of an increase in Democrat support for his actions overall.
