I'm not looking to personally benefit. What I want is a federal government that works for the majority of Americans, not just the richest of the rich. That means policies like maintaining/strengthening Social Security, taking steps to providing affordable health insurance options, and maintaining a strong national defense that doesn't attack other sovereign countries on a whim.

Social Security, Medicare, and Defense are the three largest functions of the federal government, and that's where I want them to focus. Not on your culture war nonsense. Did your god teach you to do that, to bully weaker groups of people? Because that's what MAGA does.

The President of the USA blithely announces - on “Cats & Cosby” radio show - that the US has struck land targets in Venezuela.

No one appears to believe this, even his administration. The DOD, which no longer does press briefings or speak to mainstream journalists, hadn’t said anything.
