I'm sure he didn't.  The Agents controling the scene and who refused to admit him to the area did though.  Regardless, nice offer by him, and potentially the correct choice by the Agents as the outcome may have been beyond doubt even to untrained eyes.

Border Patrol agents have intentionally and unnecessarily stepped in front of moving cars to justify using deadly force against vehicle occupants.

 

I think this is a great idea.  You don't?  Why?  Shouldn't this, in theory, lead to significantly less deaths?  I mean, if a law enforcement agent is positioned in front of a stopped vehicle, wouldn't we expect humane people to stand down and yield to authority?

How could anybody think that standing in front of running cars presumably driven by criminals would lead to fewer deaths?

As a firm believer in the laws of physics, I can guarantee you 100% you will not get run over if you’re not in the path of the vehicle. If you’re in the path, your odds decrease significantly.

I actually have no problem with police unloading their entire clip into the windshield of a criminal who's trying to run them over.  If someone got pulled over for a certain crime and saw a cop in front of them knowing they're going to get gunned down, do you think the number of people fleeing would go down?  I do.  If it doesn't, then the "he had no weapon" argument is gone completely, and justifies every shooting.

I did no such thing. We weren’t discussing Ms. Good. We were discussing the training. She wasn’t driving at the ICE clown improperly using a firearm in one hand and phone in the other.

Also, firing at a driver of a moving vehicle that is headed at you won’t stop it. You are better off using your energy to move out of the way. There really is no defense for shooting the driver in 99% of cases.

You said that a criminal wouldn't care that an office was in front of their vehichle.  Dude, she literally hit the agent in front of her.  If she had gotten out of the vehicle, like the original agent told her to do, none of this would've happened either.  So, she was disobeying a direct order from a federal agent.  You wouldn't be wrong in calling her a criminal.
