Not a duplicate thread. This a thread for all news and issues regarding Omar, not just on Trump's rant about her today on Truth Social.

Agreed with the bolded but not the two following that.

Ilhan Omar has been a naturalized U.S. citizen since 2000, so she could theoretically be deported if she were found to have committed significant immigration or naturalization fraud.

However, there has not been a shred of proof offered by Trump or anyone else that she was involved in any way with the Somalian fraud scheme in Minnesota or even had knowledge about it. The only connection seems to be that she was born in Somalia.

See, I'm actually being nice by deporting her if she committed the other two.  If she committed the other two, she should be charged with treason and sentenced to death, when convicted.

She has been naturalized.  Can't deport her.  If she were still on a green card she could be deported for fraud in obtaining it or for crimes (felonies).  If she was or is complicit in the fraud she should be jailed.  That is the correct remedy.

Like I said, I was being nice by deporting her.  If she were involved in the fraud, I'd charge her with treason.  That would be the death penalty.  Hey, I'm fine with frying her, I was just being civil.

I do, but if it is a thread I have recently started I monitor the messages to correct any misinformation or falsehoods.

And a fraud involving federal funds like this, although despicable, is not considered an act of treason, nor has it ever been.

I do not believe her actions, if she participated in or was complicit in fraud amount to treason any any previous interpretation of that teerm.  I could be wrong.  I would be happy to read any citations to examples where it has been.

Here's what I think... I think she's neck deep in it and money is going to support terrorists.  If that money is being used for that, she can in fact, he charged with treason because the money which is a resourse, was a byproduct of the fraud.  Again, I'm ok with frying her.  I'd just rather ship her back than deal with the finanes of keeping her here.

Do you seriously believe a member of Congress would be funding a Somalian terrorist group?

That is absurd and there is still not one shred of evidence she had anything to do with or had any knowledge of this fraud of government funds in Minnesota. Again, the only connection seems to be that she was born in Somalia and nothing else.
