I agree with you. There are a few social programs that I believe in as well, but they need more oversight. We spend so much money and it's due to things like fraud. that's not fair to the hard workers who are law-abiding citizens both at the Federal and State levels.

It sucks because I doubt we will ever TRULY know what happened to him, you know? I mean, we know that she didn't hit him, that the snowplow didn't see anyone in the snow, etc We know all of the factual stuff presented in the trial. But to know exactly what happened would be nice.

81% of "some kind of sexual assault." Ok, include harassment. Does that make it BETTER to say that 81% of women have been sexually harassed or assaulted in their lifetime? Falsely accusing someone of r@pe/assault/harassment? WRONG. Yes. Abhorrent. But even if 80 women out of 100 were assaulted and 10% of those 80 are false, you're still talking about 72 women that were assaulted out of 100 vs 10 out of 100 men falsely accused of it (or 2 out of 100 if you use the lower end of the stat because the stat is actually between 2% and 10% are false). So if a woman comes forward and says she was assaulted and harassed, the stats show that she probably was. It's less likely that he's being falsely accused. I don't think the issue here is that women "just need to be more aware of their surroundings and not get so drunk all the time." Also, I am tapping out. As a woman on a male dominated message board, this isn't a subject that I will get through to ANY of you on...simply because you've never been followed when you're out running, never had to make sure you had your keys in your hand a certain way when you walk to your car, never had to be careful of what you wore when you went out because some man might think that cleavage = sex. You just won't ever get it. Unless and until a female in your life goes through it. It's scary. It's awful. And I really pray that it doesn't happen to someone you know and love.

I don't give a about the age gap. I don't care if she "drank too much" at a party. Men need to take some responsibility in this and if that means avoiding drunk girls, young girls, or just girls that are questionable then MEN need to do that. I think this lady flat out saying she didn't know who authorized her to sign; she had limited contact from Biden and had NO idea where the approval came from is proof enough that there is a problem here. MY guess is that they picked someone that was kind of obscure, out there without many connections to Biden. The limited contact was a plus. So she signs something with the autopen and when she's asked questions there's a LOT of confusion. It's planned this way, IMO. If she were to KNOW who gave the authorization, they'd go right to that person and get answers. This way will remain unsure and take MUCH longer for committees to find out.
