Kilmar Abrego Garcia & Trump El Salvador deportations thread.
Strike replied to squistion's topic in The Geek Club
As a general rule of thumb I agree with you. And it would be nice if country's would take their POS's back, but sometimes they don't. And in those cases I'm OK sending them to some other random country. It gets them out of our country and that's my #1 priority. -

Kilmar Abrego Garcia & Trump El Salvador deportations thread.

He doesn't have a stay of deportation. He simply has an order that says he can't be deported to his home country. Fortunately there are hundreds of countries in the world and some of them are willing to accept him. -

This post is just stinky bait! -
Unless you've got some data to back that up you're just making stuff up. I have no doubt that some small number of women left the profession due to misogyny but we can quantify the difference in numbers of women going to college for stem versus man. You're just throwing factors out there without any data to support how much of a factor it actually is.
-
While there might be a minor Factor related to misogyny the main factor that causes women not to be in engineering is just that there aren't that many women going for engineering. This is easy enough to confirm just by looking at the traditional numbers of women going to college for engineering versus men. And I'm sure Jerry is aware that stem has always had a shortage of women relative to men in college. This has been the case since I was an engineering major in college in the early 1980s and I suspect there were more women in those disciples then compared to earlier than the '80s so we've improved but there are still less women going into that field to begin with. If you start off with a smaller pool of talent you're going to have a smaller pool of that talent in that disciple.

Well the judge granted this criminal his wish - she's letting him stay in jail so the government doesn't deport him. -
IIRC when Caitlyn Clark got injured the WNBA ratings cratered until she came back.
