I'm in CA, so I can store it up every year, but I can't cash it out. I never seem to be able to keep more than one week to roll over into the next year, though. I use it all up.

Currently, I am at over 8 weeks of PTO a year. I take off some Fridays and/or Mondays through the year to have several four day weekends. Plus maybe a week in the summer, then two weeks at Christmas/New Year. I guess the longest I've gone would be like 5 or 6 months or something when I hasn't accrued that much time.

It's still going around, and some places are even still asking to test for it. If I have symptoms that are cold-like, but then there's one weird random one, I might test just for knowledge purposes. But it really doesn't change my behaviors, I don't tend to go out or have people over when I am sick anyways.

They don't? My city in CA is literally meeting next week to talk about their budget shortfalls; first thing they claim to be cutting is fire fighters, EMTs, and Police. Meanwhile, city managers salary has gone up 400% in 15 years to nearly $500k/year. Several fire departments all over the state of CA have closed in recent years due to "cuts" at the expense of safety, mean while they throw billions at the High Speed Train to Nowhere (oh, sorry, Merced to Bakersfield), and the "homeless." We have all battery powered stuff here too; mower, leaf blower, weed eater/edger. They are great. Haven't had a gas mower in over 15 years I think.
