WhiteWonder 2,172 Posted January 26, 2018 Lebron absolutely rocked it. Westbrook coming off the bench for team Lebron? yikes. I know it means very little but Lebrons team looks stacked in comparison. Lebron, Durant, Twin Towers and Kyrie with Russ and Wall off the bench?? https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nba-all-star-game-draft-results-lebron-james-stephen-curry-select-their-teams/

KSB2424 3,083 Posted January 26, 2018 Steph fell into a good situation; not the normal. He could easily be James Harden Lite. Drafted by the Magic or some shiot. LeBron IS the team, no matter where or what. Steph is an All Star player who needs a team. No different than a Tracy McGrady, Paul Pierce, etc.

No different than a Tracy McGrady, Paul Pierce, etc. I agree but anyone over 22 knows Steph isn't the best player in the world. So not sure your point other than defending your man crush. Lebron IS the team because no one really wants to play with him. Oh yeah and lets not forget that he runs the team. He likes to set it up his way and put a puppet in as coach. But then when things aren't going well he pats himself on the back and makes everyone else who he wanted the scapegoat. Bosh told Love that it would not be easy playing with James. With James it is get a big, make him play center, and then when things go bad it is the big guys fault. Happened with Bosh and now with Love. Kyrie didn't want to play with Lebron. Don't worry Lebron will bail after this year. He always bails out when things aren't perfect. This will be the 3rd time. But yeah he IS the team.

It's the NBA, one man teams aren't championship teams, they never have been. So, your commentary is absurd on every level. HTH Steph is the best shooter of all time.. Let that sink in. Fumbleweed 426 Posted January 26, 2018 Problem with a few NBA fans is that they’ve been poisoned by Colin Cowherd into thinking that LeBron is an immortal that can do no wrong. He’s not and he can and he can still be a great player in the process,
cbfalcon 824 Posted January 26, 2018 Lebron is the best individual player in the world......But someone like Steph creates schematic advantages that contribute more to winning titles than a Lebron. It's almost 2 different lists.
IGotWorms 3,315 Posted January 26, 2018 OKLAHOMA CITY -- As Russell Westbrook pummeled the Washington Wizards on Thursday for 46 points on 19-of-29 shooting, including 21 on 9-of-11 shooting in the fourth quarter in a 121-112 win, he did so thinking he was LeBron James' last selection in the (non-televised) All-Star draft. Asked his thoughts about being selected by James, Westbrook started with a standard answer. "That's cool, man, that's good, man, they finally got the teams figured out," he said. Then from his nearby locker, Carmelo Anthony yelled out, "Tell 'em how you really feel!" Westbrook smiled and laughed. "But I see I was the last pick on the list -- I was just trying to figure out how ..." Westbrook said, referring to a list tweeted out by James. Informed it was just in alphabetical order, an incredulous Westbrook yelled back at Anthony, "See, I told you, man! Alphabetical order, man! Of course I was first!" Westbrook walked away laughing, continuing on with Anthony, "Of course! What you talking about?" What a dumbass!
WhiteWonder 2,172 Posted January 26, 2018 What a dumbass! That is funny though. I would say that KD was probably picked first and Harden 2nd. After that, who knows. If starters were picked before reserves I find it hard to imagine Westbrook being selected 9th or 10th.

If starters were picked before reserves I find it hard to imagine Westbrook being selected 9th or 10th. Reports were that is started off: LeBron - Durant Curry - Giannis LeBron - A Davis Curry - Harden The only options for first 10 picks were the elected starters. Meaning Westbrook couldnt be picked until the starting lineups were filled out. Id bet he was the first reserve chosen.

Cousins, DeRozan, Irving, Embiid, probably Davis.

Draft 2: the guys the league named as backups. Westbrook couldnt start even if LeBron or Curry had wanted him number 1 overall. He was in the second player pool for backups.
