vuduchile 1,941 Posted November 2, 2017 911 and the Patriots win, Katrina and saints win, Boston bombing and Sox win, Hurricane and Astros win. Hmmmm. Yeah. After successfully orchestrating the greatest and most improbable seesaw battle in WS history, the MLB powers that be were somehow able to magically force Darvish to completely sh!t the bed tonight. Good call.
TommyGavin 788 Posted November 2, 2017 I did see that. Was it ever verified as real? Who is he betting on tonight? Dodgers

TommyGavin 788 Posted November 2, 2017 wouldn't they have made a New York team win after 9/11 if this was an actual conspiracy? Planes originated from Boston ? NY had Mets/Braves. Piazza "heroics" first game back. Still emotional about that night. Wow
Cruzer 1,992 Posted November 2, 2017 It's early broTrue.. But if he was available for this much, why not just start him? I trust him more on short rest than a fully rested Darvish.. Kershaw said he was available for 27,I don't think he was kidding.

Voltaire 4,559 Posted November 2, 2017 Back in the day, the Ace started Games 1, 4 and 7. Not sure why that changed. In 1968, Mayo Smith sent out Denny McLain for games 1,4,and 6 and Mickey Lolich for 2,5, and 7. No, there was no rain delay to work with. In the three games that Lolich pitched, he went all nine innings and was 3-0.

Voltaire 4,559 Posted November 2, 2017 I keep waiting for the Dodgers to explode, this is after all the same Houston bullpen they've been knocking around like pinballs for the first six games. But here they are, one inning after the other, not scoring. One last chance to get those four runs.
