Brandon lafell ranked at 79 WR here, ill take that in the late rounds for upside and bye weeks.

At number 79 that would make him a 7th wr on a roster , don't think I've ever had 7 wr on any team before .

So I would agree as a wr 7 he would be worth it .

Oh man the 79th best receiver! What trmendous upside!

I joked earlier, but the upside is there.

After, Green, Eifert, Boyd, and Bernard, he's an option.

Never mind.

Why drat him and waste a roster spot at all when you can just pick him up off of waivers any time you want?

I think he does have upside in that offense. It was the way that reds phrased his upside that got me into a sarcastic mood.

Agree if Lafell is indeed the number two Wr he as some good value as a late rounder .

i was thinking 4th receiver taken with potential of 5 or 6 catches and 60 yards. Of course health and number 2 receiver in that offense are relevant. But all will change by the time of draft when things get more clearer.

He's had one good season in his career. One. And Tom Brady was at the helm.

I'll take any one of rookies like Boyd, Carroo, Mitchell, or even Moore before Lafell for sheer upside alone, not even accounting for more likely consistency week-to-week

You're projecting career highs in receptions and yards for him as potential?

Lafell's potential is lower than any WR you can get in a 15 round draft which makes him completely worthless. No one is going to draft so why bother when you can just get him off waivers if you think he's going to have a good game.

The argument for LaFell is that he'll be the recipient of a lot of the targets that would have gone Jones' and Sanu's way. But according to the FFToday stat pages; Jones had 103 targets and finished 2015 as the WR39, Sanu had 49 targets and came in as the WR77, while LaFell had 74 targets but could do no better than the WR85.

So he already garnered close to half of the Jones-Sanu target pool last year and did precious little with it. It was his 50% catch rate that held him back. Considering that having good hands is one of Tyler Boyd's reported strengths, you'd have to expect that Boyd will be vying for the CIN WR2 spot by season's end.

As the number 79th ranked wr which would make him a wr 7 lol I'm going to draft him if I ever hold seven WRs .

I don't see it taking place since I've never had the space for a 7th Wr

Now if he wins the second wr postion on a team that is also missing Eifert I would take a very good look at him very late in a draft .

You seem to forget 2 facts

A. He didnt play a full season last year

B, if you arent the TE or Number 1 WR in New England you fall into a good game now and then with Belicheck and Brady

I will take Dalton having to throw to keep up with other teams and a guy who gets his first shot at being a number 2 guy as long as things remain warm and fuzzy.

Cant argue stonewall, hopefully he gets in shape and it all comes together with good health and preseason, but like I say he has a good pre season and everyone here will start the I told u so

Weepaws the day I take so called experts advice as the way u have to go is the day I send cheat cheats with my wife and grandchildren for they can make some extra money. Maybe u think u have the edge here but this site is read by half the people I play with in all my leagues nowadays.

I am good at what i do. I pretty much get paid every year knowing people who cant use there own judgement. Just like 3 or 4 others here like you in your free league. Different year but same responses, no thinking just 97 per-cent wrong here and you 3 per-cent are right.

Take it for what you want im just saying once i have my starters at WR and 1 bench WR i think he is worthy of a roster spot at this moment, but all can change. AJ getting double teamed and if LaFell is number 2 receiver ill take it for insurance of injuries and bye week. I'm sure something will come out about him in cincy, negative or positive.remarks.

If he's a guy you really want on your team then I see no issue with taking him in one of the last rounds but if there are better players available why take Lafell when he's most likely going to go undrafted. That late in the draft I suppose it really doesn't matter though.

i play 12 team leagues and it does get iffy sometimes looking for a receiver. I may never get an average 1 if I wait because its based on wins and losses for pick-ups.

I took LaFell at 20.06 in a 24 round dynasty start up. Throwing darts at that point, but can't hurt right?

It cannot hurt. If he turns into a surprise wr3 then you will have a very good return on that pick.

Plus, you joined another dynasty?? I wish my attention could handle another.
