Jesus Christ, you're dumb.

Feel free to explain to everyone WTF the President has to do with what is taught in local school classes, local laws in Detroit, and who listens to Beyonce.

If Detroit could jump in a time machine and undo 22 years of Coleman Young and replace it with 22 years of sharia law, I'd be in favor of seeing how much better things would be.

Jeb Bush (or any Republican running) has a real opportunity to get my vote. The minute he starts pandering to the Tea Party fockchops, that's it for me. I want reasoned principles and ideas, not a competition to see who's the most fiscally and socially conservative.

If Jeb gets the nomination, I will probably vote democrat, even if it is Joe Biden.

Detroit should just burn the city and start over.

They're trying. It takes time to get rid of all that blight and turn it to urban farmland.

What would really help is city limits were turned into an amnesty zone for illegal immigrants.

Jeb Bush has to be the second coming of Ronald Regean for him to be able to shake the "Bush" moniker off his back. I just don't see it happening.

Ted Cruz is just too far right to win a general election

Huckabee just doesn't have "it"

Perry is not going to happen

Carson isn't either

I really think it comes down to:

Romney

Paul

Christie

Ryan

Walker

Rubio

Jindal

That's really good. I love that list, other than Romney -scratch him too, unless the Dems nominate Al Sharpton or Charles Manson- that's pretty much the order I'd look at too. Flip Walker with Ryan and just about scratch Jindal. I don't hate Jeb, I still like his father, but his brother is a nightmare and there's no possible way he can court his brother's supporters without alienating me. This may be unfair, based on him personally, if his name were Jeb Smith, he'd be up there with Christie and Walker.

I don't much like Rubio, he picked the wrong issue to break with Republican orthodoxy on, but what I do really like is he was one of the few in either party who voted against the Biden-McConnell turducken that ended the fiscal cliff. He deserves a lot of praise for not getting on board with that.

If Jindal thinks he's burnishing his credentials with his antics of late, he's wrong.

Dark horse: John Kasich, governor from Ohio. He's been at the helm of a nice turnaround here, and when everyone tires of the guys on your list, he'll get a look. Hell, I even voted for him this last election (partly because I liked him and partly because the Dem candidate was a disaster of colossal proportions). I'd probably vote for him if he ran for President, again, as long as he doesn't pander to the extreme right.

Kasich is awesome. Back in the day, before the Bushtard and the Clinton impeachment nonsense, I use to be a Republican. Balancing the budget has always been my holy grail and this guy was in there knee deep with the nuts and bolts of making it happen. I had huge respect for him, easily at the top of my list with Rand Paul as 100% sure to get my vote over Hillary no matter what.

College dropout who has pissed off a lot of people.

Fiscally i think he woild be good...but he is sleazy in how he deals with things. He definitely would get some financial backing...just dont see any way he would beat Hillary...which would suck.

Had the dems in Wisconsin been able to put up someone competent...he may not have won this year. Instead they sent out crapass Mary Burke and it stll came down to the wire.

College dropout

Having a college degree doesn't mean you can get things done.

For proof see: Obama.

Having a college degree doesn't mean you are smart.

For proof see: A mirror.

There are a sh!t-ton of very successful Americans who either dropped out of college, or never went.

bill gates is a college dropout. I honestly believe too much emphasis is put on college. It's not for everyone and you don't need it to learn. You can do that on your own anyway. Kids are lied to and lead to believe that if you go to college you are going to get a job and make big money. What you get is a mountain of debt and a mediocre job that keeps you middle class poor. Living paycheck to paycheck. Kids need to be explained the value of a trade. Electricians, plumbers, welders. These skilled trades cost less to learn and you can always find a job that starts your way to a career while others are either wasting time flunking out of college or burying themselves under a mountain of debt.

That is not to say I don't think college works for certain people who need certain degrees. But even then they waste your time and money by forcing you to take classes that have nothing to do with your degree and are basically refresher courses from high school.

Ahh...RP tried a little insult in there.

Look, I don't care if the guy finished college or not. But there are plenty who will. If you don't think it will be brought up constantly by the left to tear him apart (and even by the right in the primaries) you are very naive.

Gates did dropout...but is a lot smarter than Walker.

If it doesn't matter to you if he finished college or not, why do you consider it a "flaw"? Seems we have found another inconsistency in your positions.

survived how many recalls and won how many elections ? Yeah no chance

One recall in Wisconsin and barely won reelection in a red state against a terrible candidate.

He will get destroyed in the primaries first...do you really think others on the right won't tear him apart for things?

Look, I like what he has done fiscally in Wiscsonsin (job creation not included). he has helped turn around their budget.

The problem is in how he did it and how sleazy of a guy he is.

If he did somehow not get beat down in the primaries...Hillary would mop the floor with him.

Put up Paul...put up Jeb...put up Ryan or Christie and Id support any of them over HIllary any day.

Walker won't beat her and won't likely beat any of them.

I don't get the Bush hate. Never did. Jeb can win both the nomination and the election. When he comes out, he will raise a lot of money.

Walker is not to be taken lightly, because he plays very well in Iowa. However, I question his legs. Romney came pretty close against a President he was not allowed to criticize. He may get a shot at a level field. Christie has fund raising problems with Bush and Romney squatting in the centrist money. Paul will be in the race, but I doubt he ever gets close. I doubt Ryan, Rubio or Jindal run.

The one you are missing on is Ted Cruz. Yes, he's right of center of the party, which will play well in primaries. He's also very smart and a fantastic speaker.

Regardless, Barak Obama is leaving scorched earth for the Democrats to clean up. Hillary, aside from being as old as Reagan was, and not nearly as good looking for her age, has D!ck Cheney grade negatives. Everyone listed thinks that he can beat her. Anyone else will be an outside name and likely a NE liberal as well. It's a pity. I think Elizabeth Warren would make a good candidate.

Not a single one of those people sounds good to me. I really hope we get a dark horse on either side of the aisle or it will be the most uninspiring election ever - and yes, I know that's saying a lot.

I probably would be willing to give Warren a second look but she's a northeast liberal and the righties will do anything to take her down, so I don't see it happening.
