    WNBA expanding again...

Yeah I pulled the years number out of the air. I'd rather underestimate the number of years than overestimate it so Tim can't pull his semantic b*******. The point remains the same.

Because other leagues are profitable. The WNBA wouldn't exist if it hadn't been subsidized by the NBA for the last 15 years. Now that it might make a profit next year they should get a lot of that profit? How about they repay all the money that they've lost over the last 15 years and then we talk about giving them a significant amount of the profit?
  3. They're still holding hostages. GTFOH.

They don't currently. No other sports union does so. I think it's a reasonable assumption. If you have evidence to the contrary I'm willing to see it. Don't make this one of your hills to die on though.

Then the players should negotiate on the profit number, not the revenue number. And if the WNBA doesn't turn a profit they don't get paid. Or, to be legal, they get minimum wage. Seems fair to me.

What's interesting about it. Do you understand the difference between the words revenue and profit?

So apparently the WNBA players want to take a pay cut: https://www.espn.com/wnba/story/_/id/45778770/wnba-all-stars-wear-pay-us-owe-us-warmup-shirts
  8. I read one employee saying that. It may just be someone kicking him when he's down.
  9. This particular mother has been in a bunch of stories since her kid got taken by ICE. And I get it. But she's putting herself out there to be in these stories. I have no faith that she's telling the truth and not trying to make her kid look sympathetic.
  10. I assumed everyone in the story was physically in the U.S.
  11. Cool. I looked her up. All three of her sons broke our immigration laws to come here. And you think I should trust the word of someone who taught her children it was okay to break the laws of other countries. GTFOH.
  12. I may have missed it. Where in your article does it say that?

  14. So I shouldn't believe one criminal illegal alien mother, but I should believe the cherry picked criminal illegal alien mother NPR interviewed? Ok then.
