seh2000 5 Posted September 3, 2017 Top 10 for both, which and why? Thanks.
jimaveli 119 Posted September 3, 2017 Stafford is safe and boring unless Kenny G and/or Marvin step up and stay up all season. He'll be fringe starter/top 12-ish guy all year and then it's just a matter of whether he gets the tds or not. Gone are the days where he'd just close his eyes and chuck it to Don Mega repeatedly and rack up crazy yards each week. Luck is overall grand when he plays. Problem with him is similar to what people say about Big Ben. He gets hurt, plays hurt, and occasionally hurts your team with impressively bad interceptions/halves/quarters. And the colts lie like crazy about his condition so he's tough to trust to heavily until we see him do something. Also, that colts roster is somewhat brutal. I just saw Luck to undrafted. He makes for a solid backup if you have a starter you want to start most weeks. Having him stashed is probably better than some of the trash wr stashes that many folks have right now. Ie: John Ross types.
himmystyles 30 Posted September 3, 2017 I don't think either will be. Stafford seems inconsistent, and luck is banged up. Aim for a Winston or cousins if you can instead. Thanks for helping with mine.
rottytiny 7 Posted September 3, 2017 I like Stafford just because of the injury with Luck, can he hold up??? Stafford will throw it alot again, if Luck was healthy its no brainer but how bad is the shoulder? Can it hold up to getting hit?? Can probably get Stafford cheaper too
TennisMenace 156 Posted September 3, 2017 Top 10 for both, which and why? Thanks. I don't think I could trust Luck to stay healthy. I'm thinking Colts traded for a qb thinking that too. As for Stafford, pretty much the same as last year. Without Megatron, nothing special. No top 10 for either qb.
brotherbock 349 Posted September 3, 2017 I don't think either will be. Stafford seems inconsistent, and luck is banged up. Aim for a Winston or cousins if you can instead. Thanks for helping with mine. I kept Luck in my keeper league, but grabbed Winston early as my initial starter. (I'll need help in their shared bye week, but that's ages away). weepaws 3,191 Posted September 3, 2017 Last year was the first season Stafford didn't have C Johnson and still ranked 7th in ff points scored for qbs. I like the guy and I think he will once again be a top ten QB. Isn't Luck expected to miss the first game or two of the season ?
Runningriot1966 6 Posted September 4, 2017 Matt Stafford was leading for MVP until he broke his finger! Nothing special,,,,,damn!
tanatastic 2,062 Posted September 4, 2017 Easy top 10 for stafford as usual, Luck 50/50.
unclemercy 53 Posted September 5, 2017 fwiw after signing stafford went on record saying he wants to outplay his contract. evwn with the loss of decker at starting left tackle the line is very much improved. rbs are healthy and the system hasnt changed. plus he is playing with all ten fingers again. this is a guy who was being included in mvp talks half way thru last year. im buying stafford and wouldnt be shocked if he finished in or around the top five in ffb. i dont like luck right now. have bad dreams about the colts whole offense this year. LunaTick 30 Posted September 5, 2017 If given choice between the two. I'd go Stafford. For some reason, the Colts vibe to me is like the year before Luck was drafted. Like Colts are going to tank for a better pick. Maybe not as bad as the Jets. Maybe I am wrong
kutulu 1,676 Posted September 16, 2017 4 TDs is a nice start for the highest paid NFL player
Runningriot1966 6 Posted September 16, 2017 Stafford was up for MVP before being injured last season and the Colts are a dumpster fire. Luck can't help them!
