It’s Casablanca for me. But I love IAWL too. The main difference for me is that for Rick a light switches off & on for him morally & personally. For George the forces are all beyond his control, he’s lost by the fault of others & saved by the grace of others. With Bogart you can’t tell how he will land, he’s inscrutable, sometimes unscrupulous, & you know he could kill & has killed. Bogart’s performance is one of the greatest in history IMO.

The President of the USA blithely announces - on “Cats & Cosby” radio show - that the US has struck land targets in Venezuela. No one appears to believe this, even his administration. The DOD, which no longer does press briefings or speak to mainstream journalists, hadn’t said anything.

Honest Answer: no, I would not be disappointed. I’ll go even further, Godspeed to the prosecutors who take this up but if prosecution isn’t possible I hope these people never walk in a moment’s peace in human society again. Ostracize & reject them.

It is, it means the DOJ traditionally required a very high level of proof before it could charge someone. Merely winning a majority of a grand jury wasn’t enough either.

That’s typical around the country. DOJ for almost its whole history has had a policy that a case can only be brought if there’s a near certainty of conviction. That’s been true everywhere.

So what does this say about Pirro & Patel? They’ve manufactured a case to frame a mentally deficient person to force a confession he was motivated by the maga anger over the stolen election?
