The recent surges in U.S. coronavirus cases can be traced to two key factors -- crowds of protesters and proximity to the U.S.-Mexico border, Dr. Scott Atlas, a senior fellow at The Hoover Institution, said Saturday night. Most of the cases in the Southwest -- California, Arizona and Texas -- are occuring in counties closest to the U.S.-Mexico border, Atlas told anchor Jon Scott during an appearance on on "Fox Report Weekend." "When you look in the southern counties of California, Arizona and the bordering counties of Texas -- with the Mexico border -- these are where most of these cases are really exploding," Atlas said. "And then you look at the Mexico map and in Mexico, that's where their cases are. Their cases are in the northern border zone states. And it turns out the timeline here correlates much more to the Mexico timeline of increasing cases than anything else." https://www.foxnews.com/media/dr-atlas-coronavirus-surges-linked-mostly-to-protests-and-proximity-to-us-mexico-border

See, I can agree with this. And at the same time disagree that this St Louis couple were simply "defending" their home.

I'll never forget my first pitching experience in little league. We were up by 1 going into the final inning. I was asked to move from shortstop to pitch the last inning. I walked the bases loaded to start the inning. Then the coach came out and just told me to strike out the next 3 guys. Then I actually did. It was fun. Meaningless, as I didn't pursue baseball, but it was unforgettable, for me anyway. Firsts are a big thing in life. I remember my first stolen base. My first double. My first time with a chick at 15. I even remember the first time I heard the word 'c*nt'. It was on a grade school bus.

Good. https://www.redstate.com/bonchie/2020/07/11/minnesota-governor-requested-disaster-relief-after-riots-trump-tells-him-to-go-jump-in-a-lake/ "Some weeks ago, Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota made a request for federal disaster relief after hundreds of millions of dollars in destruction occurred in Minneapolis. That damage came at the hands of rioting and looting in the aftermath of the death of George Floyd. Those cities burned because Walz and the local leadership refused to stop the carnage, even as people were injured and killed in the chaos. The President had urged Minnesota to deploy troops early on, something that wouldn’t happen until later, after the damage was already done. Instead of accepting Trump’s offering of active duty troops, Walz refused while Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey trashed the President’s urging to get tough and stop the anarchy. Now, these two figures want taxpayers from other states to help pay for their political cowardice and Trump has given them an answer that I’ll summarize – Go jump in a lake. This is indeed great news. Consciously letting rioters destroy your city is not a valid reason to then collect disaster relief funds. The reason Walz and Frey didn’t take action is because they were scared of the political consequences. Now, they get to live with the results of their decisions. Support from the federal government? That was offered in the role of forces to prevent the destruction and Walz refused it. That’s on him. Forcing someone from Texas to pay for his dereliction of duty would be a travesty. When a hurricane hits, no one can stop that. But the resources were there to stop the rioting on the first night. They weren’t used because, in Walz’s own words, they could be seen as an “occupying force.” That’s a political calculation and nothing more. Minnesota will have to learn the hard way that there are consequences to continually electing left-wing politicians. I’m all for outreach and attempting to change the status quo in these blue states, but that’s not going to come via handing them half a billion dollars to clean up the mess they purposely made."

It's amazing that anyone thinks this was justified. It's a power play by a left wing DA backed by George Soros. It has no chance of holding up in court but puts these people's lives at risk. Thankfully a local gun shop has offered to replace their AR-15 free of charge. I hope they've already taken them up on the offer.

The mob threatened to ransack their house, light it on fire, murder them and their dog. It’s on tape. They broke through a gate and were on private property. It was not a public street - it was a private street owned by the homeowners. We saw mobs just like this murder a cop in the area a few days before. I can’t believe you are defending this. These people were scared for their life and had ever reason to be.

I cannot imagine one single American who would not applaud this, regardless of political affiliation.

This isn't a hurricane, tornado or flood. The state and local government did it to themselves, fix it yourself. Any parent knows this........you destroyed your own room, you clean it up,.

Normal white people, no, but I guarantee you a lot of liberals would have a bigger problem with it than the redskins

Its gonna have to be related to charges. There has to be probable cause that investigators would find evidence, guns for example, related to specific offenses. Im betting it would be brandishing or whatever Missouri felony would relate to pointing a gun at someone. Not that that charge would stick, but you could probably articulate the facts to support a search warrant.

It's written for white men too. The constitutional right to bear arms for instance was not written for blacks. Gun deaths in this country could plummet overnight if we implemented that amendment as intended. That might seem racist but it's factual. This election is about being white in America and how difficult you want that to be. If you vote Democrat you are a traitor to your heritage. Plain and simple.

Clay target shooting is not going to help with home defense. Need a course on shooting in a mock enclosure, low visibility. Train how you are going to fight. Just sayin.

He ran to Ciaramella and lied about the phone call. As soon as the transcript came out he was done. I can’t believe there are still people dumb enough to go back to the embarrassing quid pro quo disaster.

Nursing homes and assisted living facilities account for up to 45% of all Covid deaths nationwide, not just in states with Democratic governors. Link HTH but I am sure it won’t.
