The money line: "We’ve had decades of research with overwhelmingly positive results,..." That's straight out of Rainbow Mob Propaganda 101. It's categorically false, of course, because every country except the US are walking back all of the trans nonsense that was pushed previously. Not only have we NOT had "decades of positive research" and the science is FAR from settled on this, but also it's coming out that it actually DOES NOT help as trans people are still killing themselves at the same rates pre and post change. -
My nephew is 15, a freshman in high school. There's at least 10 kids that identify as trans in his school. At his middle school the prior year, the school had a "Pride Club". His school had about 800 kids, of which, there we 70 members in the Pride Club. He said that half identify as trans. His cousin, who is gay, was in the that club and is the source of the information. The high school that my nephews cousin went to, which is the local school of the middle school they both went to, has over 2500 kids and they have a Pride Club. That club has over 200 members where a third identify as trans. No, I'm not surprised you don't see many... because unless you're around middle and high school aged kids all day, you'd almost never see them. I have 4 patients/clients who are trans. All 4 are over 20 years old. Of the 4, two have told me that they don't like the way schools promote the trans movement because the vast majority who claim to be trans, are just acting. The other two doesn't talk about the topic. People with kids should worry about it because it is getting a lot of, not just support, but condoning and encouragement in the schools. Yeah, a lot of kids will grow out of it, some won't... but a good portion could be prompted to seek medical intervention, which is NOT acceptable. After 18, have at it... prior? Nope.

It can be a safety issue for trans women to play biological women in volleyball. Just saying I don’t think it is in this particular case.

The powers that be allowed certain things to take place to stage a disaster on their own soil, giving them a reason to take drastic measures. I don't care what Jews or Muslims or anyone believes. So transgenders threaten your gender identity and sexual preferences? If they have, perhaps you should explore these things instead of suppressing it. You'd be a mentally healthier person. I don't agree with transgender women competing in women's sports. They should have their own category, same with women who identify as men. It kind of ends here with me. Men, women, transgender men, transgender women. You can't have too much sports, right? I support legal action if trans women are discriminated against because of who they are. Women fought for the right to vote, equal pay and the right to chose what they do with their bodies. Ultra conservatives have taken away that last part in so many places in our country, and shame on them for doing so. You confuse "mutation" with what has been around since the dawn of mankind. It's just not as oppressed and discriminated against. I love me. You choose to be a heterosexual man, so be fine with me being a trans woman, and we'll all get along just fine. It's all good in the humanity hood. Love wins!

This person used a male name for crimes and because she was schizophrenic, no evidence they were actually a tranny. The Colorado Springs shooter did not “identify as non binary” until after the shooting. The trial showed there was no evidence they were actually non-binary. I mean c’mon, he couldn’t even fully commit to the act by actually claiming to be trans, so he went with “non-binary” I did not see any claims until recently (for a shooting that occurred in 2018) that the Aberdeen shooter was trans. The Nashville shooter was trans. These others were not based on the information we have available. If you insist I’ll give you the Iowa one but even that is a gray area. They may have been thinking about transitioning but had not yet. -

A couple of thoughts on this: - I wouldn't call it Bathroom for the Mentally Ill, I'll stick with "non-gender". - It's important to the progressives that women "deal" with it, which is to say, learn to love it. As has been pointed out before, there aren't that many trans people, so a single non-gender bathroom should be more than sufficient to meet their needs. But that isn't enough, it needs to be embraced, and trans women (biological men) need to feel 100% accepted, after all. - Anyone who thinks that individual doored stalls is the same as a row of urinals does not understand queuing theory. Airport bathrooms are mostly empty, except when flights land, when there is a rush to use them. Removing urinals will likely create some... issues with this.

Golden One Center in Sacramento has gender neutral restrooms. I had to go really bad once and I was not willing to wait in the ladies room line, so I used one. It had a commode as well as a urinal, BFD. One room, locking door, so one person at a time, which I kind of felt was more of a waste of space, but whatever. I think it had a changing table too, so def more of a "family" restroom, but with a new name tag. I got a couple of weird looks when I came out, that's for sure. But in my mind, they are use for everyone. I needed to go. If they are ONLY for trans, then call them trans. Gender neutral implies ANYONE can use them. In terms of smell, bathrooms smell. Meh.

Problem is, you can't anymore. The recent links talk about councilors being pressured to rubber-stamp any kid who thought they might be trans. This is part of how posters like @squistionand @The Real timschochet "conclude" that the "vast" majority of experts support transing the kids. The story has been laid out, for any who care to understand it. Europe had a study which showed positive results for medical intervention, so that became the norm. Problem was, that study used very carefully culled patients who had gone through rigorous counseling, not anyone who felt trans that day. After some time doing that, they've come to realize that that was a big mistake, and most if not all of those countries have significantly pulled back on such interventions. The US was eager to jump into the woke part of this story (the initial, mistaken part) but seems reticent to learn the second half from Europe, instead apparently being willing to screw up its own children and learn that way. Folks like Tim and Squis will sit here and say with a straight face that this astronomical increase in trans-identifying kids is all real, and all they needed was a welcoming society. The future will show how wrong this is, but they'll sit here with goofy smiles and say oops, oh well, we meant well, which I'm sure they do. That's one of the perils of liberal ideology, it just sounds so darn nice, even when it isn't.

As shown by the video, Card liked tweets from high-profile conservative figures such as Donald Trump Jnr., Tucker Carlson, Dinesh D'Souza. He also engaged with publications from former house speakers Kevin McCarthy and Jim Jordan, as per the video. The most eye-catching tweet interaction of them all was one involving mass shooters published by Trump jr. "Given the incredible rise of trans/non-binary mass shooters in the last few years... by far the largest group committing as a percentage of population... maybe, rather than talking about guns we should be talking about lunatics pushing their gender affirming bullsh*t on our kids?" it read. That wasn't the only time his expressed views against the trans community. "The trans movement, it turns out, is the mirror image of Christianity, and therefore its natural enemy. One would think that with all the threads about trans that are started here (and how they seem to be brought into other threads that has nothing to do with the subject matter) that this "tranny" threat would be the most important issue on voters minds...yet the moderators didn't mention it nor did Vance think it important enough to even raise the issue.

Agree that she should not be on a woman’s team, but per usual, this seems to be being blown out of proportion. The team is not even ranked in the top 25 and Fleming doesn’t even appear to be the best player on the team, which would suggest the “safety concern” is being overblown. Also apparently the teammate that filed a lawsuit lived with Fleming for awhile before even realizing they were trans. So much for @weepaws being able to identify trannies going to the bathroom so he can beat them up.

Sure, there are always exceptions. Perhaps where we disagree is in the ratio of actual kids with severe gender dysphoria which may warrant medical intervention, vs. the less severe to social contagion cases. I happen to think the latter is much more prevalent. Even if not, or even if not a majority, I think the default should be "physician, do no harm" in general. BTW, your 0.01% estimate earlier significantly underestimates the number of people, and particularly kids, who identify as trans. If you agree with my last sentence, I don't see how you come to this position. Also, by your argument, I presume you also disagree with states taking away parental rights and/or giving sanctuary to "trans" kids against their parents' wishes?
