themorey 1 Posted April 28, 2006 I wonder what jersey # D'Brick will take?
fightklub 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Since Willimas is going to be a Texan, I think jets are going to take a shot and moving up to #2.... This is going to be crazy draft. I say stay put and take Da Brick.

I say stay put and take Da Brick. im with you trading up to #2 isnt that much better than to #1 so if they didnt before, why now? they basically are a lock for Ferguson now

Portis26 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Do the Jets move up for Bush now? Nope - Bush will drop to them at #
BennyAndTheJets 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I may sound like an idiot, but I'm not sold on giving up a ton of picks to move up two spots. I'd rather only draft Bush if he falls to us.
mkuz 0 Posted April 29, 2006 i would rather see us move up to get bush then to get leinart that is for sure. should be a greatly entertaining draft boys. J-E-T-S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
fightklub 0 Posted April 29, 2006 If we move up and give up picks... I will be boo-ing... Oh, wait I will be boo-ing no matter what ...
Little Big Head 6 Posted April 29, 2006 i'd be happy as hell to get Reggie. Wouldn't mind Brick or V.Davis either. I'm not sure how much I'd want to give NO for the #2 spot. Mabey the 4, 29, and a 3rd. That way we would still have at least 1 pick in every rd. while keeping all picks for next year
Ignition Technition 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Sirius just mentioned Vernon Davis is in the mix, they then went on to name that tradition of Jet first rd stud TE's Johnny Mitchell,Kyle Brady, Anthony Becht
t.j 35 Posted April 29, 2006 Shoulda traded for Bush. J-E-T-S SUCK SUCK SUCK!

fightklub 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Shoulda traded for Bush. J-E-T-S SUCK SUCK SUCK! You are an idiot, idiot, idiot! They wanted more than (2) 1st RD picks and a 3rd.

t.j 35 Posted April 29, 2006 So do they go Leinart now? I almost went with Leinart here in the draft contest. I've got a feeling I will regret not making that pick. If not, you have to think it's going to be D'Brick here.
Rye & Leaf 0 Posted April 29, 2006 J-E-T-S SUCK SUCK SUCK! Whenever I go see the Bills play the Jets at home, I get so sick of hearing ever drunken Bills fan yelling this at Jets fans.........anyway, the jets made the right move not mortgaging their future for Bush.
DanXIII 8 Posted April 29, 2006 Glad Mangini was schooled by Bilicheck.... The thought of my Dolphins facing Bush twice a year for 15 years didn't sit well.

hellothere 1 Posted April 29, 2006 And no BOOing. I feel denied of a longtime tradition. my brother had never watched the draft before, and i promised him the jets fans would boo their pick regardless. i let him down, you jets fan out there let my brother down. damn your gentle nature! Vikings4ever 550 Posted April 29, 2006 Congrats to the Jets for making the right pick.
hellothere 1 Posted April 29, 2006 honestly though, Brick is a fantastic pick here. i wanted the Texans to trade down and draft him for the longest time, and he could easily end up being the best pro in the draft, over both m.williams and r.bush.
t.j 35 Posted April 29, 2006 Congrats to the Jets for making the right pick. Yeah, good pick, IMO D'Brick is the 2nd-best player in the draft.
MahSoonerz 0 Posted April 29, 2006 And no BOOing. I feel denied of a longtime tradition. I definitely heard boos, but they were drowned out by the cheers. Amazing. Wait until 29. Plenty of time for Jets fans' to go mental.
fightklub 0 Posted April 29, 2006 And no BOOing. I feel denied of a longtime tradition. I wanted them to take Da Brick... But I was boo-ing just for the hell of it. If Matt L. keeps on falling.... The JETS should move back up and grab him! Now all we need is D. Williams with #29.... but he won't be there.

fightklub 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I also like N. Mangold there as well.... or maybe even J. Joseph
fightklub 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I think Jets coach Eric Mangini and senior VP Mike Tannenbaum did exactly what their mentors -- Bill Belichick and Scott Pioli -- would have done: take the best 10-year lineman available. The Pats got ridiculed for taking some of the no-name offensive and defensive linemen they've signed in recent years (Ty Warren, Logan Mankins), but they've built tremendous lines -- at least on defense -- and Belichick will tell you that's why the team has been able to stay consistently good. Build an awesome OL in this draft... You can play bad QBs behind a great OL... With a good defense, you can get back into the playoffs.
fightklub 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Jimmy Williams is still available.... Hmmmn
nobody 2,673 Posted April 29, 2006 Hopefully the Jets take Marcus Vick here and all their dumbass fans at the draft jump off the balconies and commit suicide.

Vor 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Redskins-Jets Redskins get: 3rd pick of 2nd round. Jets get: 21st pick in 2nd round (53rd overall), 20th in 6th round (189 overall) in 2006 draft and a 2nd-pick in 2007. Shitty trade.. they moved back 18 spots in the 2nd for two 6th rounders??? They need to get some quality players. -v
