LunaTick 30 Posted April 28, 2006 Just in case I am too busy to state this in the morning. Please or please do not move up for a QB. I am not sold on the Cutler hype.
Vikings4ever 550 Posted April 29, 2006 1. If Cutler falls, great. But don't trade up for him. 2. If Cutler's gone, go after Sims or Greenway. 3. If all three are gone, trade down, and target Thomas Howard or D'Qwell Jackson. Or trade down and trade up in the second and go for them both. 4. QB is a first day need. If not Cutler in the first, Croyle, Jacobs, Clemens, or Whitehurst in the second or third. Ideally: 17: Cutler 48: Roger McIntosh 51: Abdul Hodge 83: Charles Spencer/Deuce Lutui 95: Alan Zemaitis
0021 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Just don't draft anyone who has had 5 concussions.........or move up for Cutler. Will the Ravens....lords of the draft....sucker us into moving up? we shall see
HilltopperVike 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I'm guessing Greenway will be our man come draft day
Orgazmo 2 Posted April 29, 2006 Rob Rang thinks your first should be spent on Addai. Spicy! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=208708
Portis26 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I'm thinking Simms would be more ideal in the cover 2 scheme. They have 2 good LBs in Napoleon Harris, E.J Henderson - but I think they do go LB with their first pick; unless they go DeAngelo Williams since they cut Onterrio; I know they were counting on him somewhat in the mix at RB

bellyache 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Good, Cutler is gone! No overrated college loser for the Vikings. They need Deangelo Williams. Sure they got Chester Taylorm but he is basically a Mewelde Moore clone. Good but not a star. Williams has a chance to be a star. Take him Vikings.
Vikings4ever 550 Posted April 29, 2006 Need Chad Greenway.

LunaTick 30 Posted April 29, 2006 Thrilled both Sims and Cutler are not there. Curious that Denver was the team that drafted a QB. Was not on my radar. How many concussions for Sims this year? par for the course for Detroit though. just two more picks until Greenway
Vikings4ever 550 Posted April 29, 2006 Come on, Greenway, it's a short trip up to Minnesota!

Vikings4ever 550 Posted April 29, 2006 You guys have no clue. This was a wasted pick. Any particular reason why? OLB is (was) a huge need, and Greenway is regarded as one of the top OLBs.
HeirCoryell 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Any particular reason why? OLB is (was) a huge need, and Greenway is regarded as one of the top OLBs. I thought that one of the main needs in the Tampa 2 was speed. Greenway lacks that. He's also not very stong, so you'd think that will hurt him against the run. Since when is 4.55 slow? Yeah, he was slow at the combine, but he ran much faster at the Iowa workout.
Vikings4ever 550 Posted April 29, 2006 Since when is 4.55 slow? Yeah, he was slow at the combine, but he ran much faster at the Iowa workout. And I've heard he plays faster than his combine 40 time would lead on (I don't watch college football, so all my info is second hand).
