thenewlibrahi2 0 Posted August 24, 2006 1) top 5 wrs this year - donald driver, fitz, holt, chad johnson, t.o. 2) top 5 rbs this year - larry johnson, shaun alexander, lt2, ronnie brown, rudi johnson 3) warrick dunn will continue to produce very good fantasy and real stats, but still be underappreciated as an amazing rb 4) people will never learn to not touch anyone on a team with aaron brooks, he is a bum, left new orleans, went to raiders, brought his bumness with him 5) reggie bush isn't worth anywhere near a 2nd or 3rd round pick, unless it's a dynasty league, come on. deuce will get more touches and points than him, but he is going 5th round! Fred Sanford 0 Posted August 24, 2006 5. The Colts will average as many points per game as last year without E. James. 4. Ravens will win 10 or more games. 3. Redskins will win the NFC. 2. Stephen Jackson will finish in the top 3 in rushing yards. 1. Vince Young will have more interceptions than completions.
DanXIII 8 Posted August 24, 2006 5. The Jets will have the worst record in football 4. Tony Romo will be Dallas' starter before year's end. 3. Shaun Alexander will score > 25 TDs. 2. The Lions will win the NFC North. 1. The Dolphins will win the AFC East.
Mad Matt 0 Posted August 24, 2006 1) Ravens Offensive players (McNair, Lewis, Heap and Mason) are now fantasy starters. 2) Corey Dillon is a top 10 fantasy RB or better. 3) Chad Johnson, Palmer and Rudi are compared to the triplets (Irving, Aikman, and Smith). 4) Indy and Peyton miss the playoffs and don't put up good fantasy numbers in the process. 5) Marshawn Lynch is the #1 pick in the NFL draft.
Ignatius J. Reilly 0 Posted August 24, 2006 1) Palmer will come back without a problem and throw at least 30 TD passes 2) P. Manning will crank it back up a notch and throw at least 38 TD passes. 3) Tony Gonzalez will go back to scoring TDs as defenses focus on LJ (at least 8). 4) DeShaun Foster will be on IR by week 9 and DeAngelo Williams owners will reap the huge benefits. 5) At the first Bronco-Raider game of the year, somehow Jake Plummer and Aaron Brooks will end up on the field at the same time. Brooks will throw a backward interception to Plummer who will then attempt a left handed pass back to Brooks before being sacked for a safety by Lyle Alzado who's wearing a half-Bronco/half-Raider uniform on his skeletal frame. Out of protest, the football simply vanishes in mid-air.
ROBOKOP 0 Posted August 24, 2006 not gonna happen in Green Bay. As much as I'd love to see Favre go out in the playoffs, his offensive line is in shambles, his RBs are banged up, outside of Driver there's no proven WR, and his defense has more holes than swiss cheese. Gonna be a looooong year for the gunslinger. his offensive line is in shambles - Maybe so in the middle with two rookies, but should improve throughout the season. RBs are banged up - How so? Green is coming back and we shall see how effective he is. outside of Driver there's no proven WR - Still living at the end of 2005? Jennings has been a beast. and his defense has more holes than swiss cheese. - Like where? Name a position for me please. Defense was decent last year and only impoved this year with additions of Pickett, Hawk, Manuel, and Woodson. I may be a homer, but I'm a realist. The Packers have some challenges ahead, but their schedule isnt exactly that difficult. They really have a decent shot of finishing with a winning record as do a lot of teams. McCarthy is stepping up, cutting the dead weight and adding youth. People seem to forget they are only a season removed from 10-6.
Creepin'Camel-Toe 0 Posted August 24, 2006 1. Warrick Dunn will have Tiki type numers this year 2. TE production will drop off to BG (Before Gates) 3. D. Foster WILL NOT get hurt this year 4. R. Wayne will be the #1 WR 5. I will scratch my balls 5 times in the next 5 mins.
FFOpie 0 Posted August 24, 2006 1) Oakland will look much better but will still finish in the cellar of the West. 2) NYJ will have 3 or less wins which will earn them the #1 pick in '07. 3) Seattle will again finish with best record in the NFC. 4) Texans will have at least 6 wins as they begin a climb to respectability. 5) T.O. will behave this year despite his history of black-on-black crime
davidbostonisgood 2 Posted August 24, 2006 1. Larry Johnson will have less than 1600 yds and 20 tds. 2. Throughout the year I will think, "the Packers are just one more year away from being good again." 3. ......I forgot 4. David Boston will still be a sucky ff player (and real player). 5. Chester Taylor catches 80+ balls this year.
De Novo 0 Posted August 24, 2006 Tommy Maddox will throw for 5,000 yards Brandon Stokley will be the #1 fantasy WR Those are the only things I can guarantee.

xenophobe 1 Posted August 24, 2006 I see a lot of people ragging on the Jets this year, but I think if Pennington is healthy, they will exceed a lot of people's expectations. This was a team that made it to the playoffs two seasons ago and was devistated by injuries last season. The biggest issues for them last season were to the o-line, which they addressed in a big way in the draft, and QB, where Pennington will be returning and have added depth. Barlow is a bit of an enigma as a guy who showed lots of potential early but never did anything once given his shot. If they can get the running game going, they should be able to win some games this year. They aren't going to be good, but I see a lot of teams that will be worse off than the Jets. yostevo 0 Posted August 24, 2006 1. I gurantee that I won't be able to open any NFC north thread and be able to read it all the way through because I'll get annoyed and close it about 6 posts in. 2. Travis Taylor will be top 15 3. Kevin Jones will lose his job either to injury or ineffectiveness 4. C. Taylor will be the Lamont Jordan of this year. Not flashy but consitent points and approach double digit TD's. 5. This will be Mike Martz's only year in Detroit because the offense will improve enough to warrant him another go in a head coaching gig.
Cuse9 129 Posted August 25, 2006 Alot of predictions and gUarentees!! There were a couple guarentees that I really didn't need to see! These ones stick out to me....I like them! 5. This will be Mike Martz's only year in Detroit because the offense will improve enough to warrant him another go in a head coaching gig. 3. Arizona will become the greatest show in the desert but will still miss the playoffs. 4. Marion Barber and Terry Glenn will end up with more TDs than JJ and TO. 3. Chris Chambers remind Culpepper of Moss and they connect for over 13 TDs. Meanwhile CPep manages to stare down Chambers everytime resulting in almost 20 ints this year. Miami just barely misses the playoffs. 4. Billy Volek will vastly outplay Vince Young, but Young will be heralded as the savior of the franchise. 3) Willie Parker will run for 1800 yards this year. 2. Mike Bell will retain the starting gig in Denver and rush for 1300+yards and 12 TD's. 2. Chris Simms will be a top 5 QB And I think it's a general consensus that everyone thinks Roy "The Legend" Williams will be the breakout player of the year! And Warrick Dunn will have a tremendous year as well. I like the fact that most of us aren't going with the obvious.....way to have some balls and step up with some of the predictions!!
wildbluefan 0 Posted August 25, 2006 1. Reggie Bush will be compared to Tomlinson up until week 2 of the REGULAR season. 2. The media will talk about TO 3. Houston will do better this year only because they cannot do worst than last year 4. Danny Snyder will buy another amusement park and lower the height restriction so he can ride the coasters. 5. Someone will draft Vick too early, but this happens every year... Let me take #5 a step further - IF VICK is drafted at all, it will be way too early !!!! Nujet2002 0 Posted August 28, 2006 1. Joe Horn will regain his old form and finish as a top 10 reciever with a shot at top 5. 2. Frank Gore will finish with over 1300 rushing yards this season. However, his lack of TDs with San Fran will hurt his fantasy value. 3. Chester Taylor will finish as a top 10 running back. Once his o-line gels, they'll be great blocking and Chester is pretty talented also. 4. If Ladainian Tomlinson gets hurt, Michael Turner will put up equal if not better stats than LT would in the games that Turner starts. 5. Kurt Warner will play in all 16 games this season, which will result in him being a top 5 quarterback.
gpann101 32 Posted August 28, 2006 2. Jerome Harrison will produce more yards from scrimmage then Reggie Bush. This actually could be true
mr.shitty 0 Posted August 29, 2006 1. reggie bush will be the next ron dayne 2. randy moss will be the #1 WR again 3. 5 top 10 wrs will not be top 20 wrs next year 4. the rookie of the year will not be one of the "big five" 5. kurt warner puts up mvp numbers

wizbang 10 Posted August 29, 2006 1. Things will fall apart in Chicago. Grossman will be benched. The D won't get 84 wacky turnovers resulting in surprising wins and ultimately.... Benson will supplant TJones just before FFL playoffs. 2. DeAngello Williams will start by mid season and never give the job back. He'll be compared to Tomlinson by this time next season. 3. Joe Horn will return as a Top 10 WR. 4. Reggie Bush will live up to the hype but be nicked up a lot. 5. Daunte Culpepper will push Manning for the #1 overall FFL QB (hint: it's the completion percentage people!). It will be 2004 all over again.
Erb047 0 Posted August 29, 2006 1. Manning finishes as #1 QB, and Palmer rebounds to finish #2. Brady 3rd, Delhomme 4th, and Eli Manning rounds out the 5th spot. 2. Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne both finish in the top 5 for WRs. 3. Jerious Norwood is the offensive ROY 4. Marion Barber is this years LJ, but not quite as productive.... 5. Cleveland will finish 8-8, and Frye will at least be a top 15 QB. Braylon Edwards will also come back to be a solid #2, and potentially #1 WR this year. Schnak23 0 Posted August 29, 2006 1. Tony Jaa gets picked up by the Raiders and becomes the first 120 pound linebacker. He sets the record for tackles in a year. 2. Jeff George becomes the starter and he and Moss hook up for 1200 yards and 12 TD's. 3. Mike Bell gets Offensive Rookie of the year. 4. Chiefs win it all. 5. I win all of my FF leagues. shasha 0 Posted August 29, 2006 5. Shaun Alexander comes out strong for the first two game before a season ending knee injury...ends his season. Don't mess with Madden. 4. 2 of the 4 miraculously cured QB's get hurt by week 8 and are out for the rest of the season. Take your pick. 3. LJ has a decent start and then it all falls apart as Turley falls apart and the defense is horrible they go 4-12. 2. Donovan McNabb finishes the season in the NFC Championship game and is the #3 QB in FF scoring. 1. Reggie Bush finishes the season with 1100yds rushing, 10TD's and 500yds reeciving with 3TD's. All of this thanks to Deuce's sprained whatever you can imagine. They also get the first overall pick in the draft for 2007.
texasmouth 1 Posted August 29, 2006 And I'll guarantee the only thing contained within your skull is corn-riddled pooh. Maybe so but that wont help you win any more than 6 games......sorry. 4. Marion Barber is this years LJ, but not quite as productive.... I would love for this to be true. Even though I am a JJ owner, I am a big time MBIII fan. I honestly think maybe they should reverse roles. JJ could be the change of pace back, that is a great change of pace. JJ has good hands out of the back field and less time on the field means less chance to get hurt. 2. Jeff George becomes the starter and he and Moss hook up for 1200 yards and 12 TD's. 3. Mike Bell gets Offensive Rookie of the year. Jeff George wins come back player of the year without any competition. That would rule. George throws the bomb like no one else. I really like Mike Bell, he really seems to run like a seasoned vet despite being a rookie. Tater Tot is a change of pace back at best. 4) Vick will be a top 5 QB this year 5) Come back player of the year will be Ron Dayne!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you mean top 5 QB in fantasy football, I will buy that. Top five in real life, not a chance. Dayne might not even make the team, will he be the CBPOTY on a different team?
