Recommended Posts

Well, not big...put it this way...I never heard a Zep song I didn't like, but I can't name all their songs.

Just flippin you some shiot, and I'm with you, never heard a Zep song I didn't like unfortunately I've heard them all so nothing is new anymore.Too damn old now to even remember what that feeling was like hearing one of their songs for the first time, thankfully my teenage nephew discovered them(thanks to Uncle nzoner)so I least get to experience that.

Hrm...

Lesser know tracks I enjoy are:

Stone Temple Pilots - Silvergun Superman

Alice in Chains - Rotten Apple (there is not a bad track on Jar of Flies)

Nirvana - Breed

Pearl Jam - Once

Metallica - Disposable Heroes

I'll avoid groups like Zeppelin, Floyd, The Who, etc. for the purpose of this discussion.

Kid Rock - Only God Knows Why

I know it's not 'cool' to like Kid Rock - but I do. This is a good track.

Actually, one of my friends is on one of his old albums doing some guitar work.

I'm not a big Kid Rock fan - but I like this song. Good to see someone else has good taste.

Come on, EM. You're not one of those people who give a crap about what other people think is cool, are you?

I always get a kick out of people who think they're cool because of the music they listen to.

that song would be better if he didn't use the phaggy synthesizer to make his voice sound better during the verses... he sounds like cher for godssakes...

"do you belieeeeeeeve in life after love"

No, but I find the flip side of that is pretty widespread, meaning that many people are very judgemental regarding people's musical taste, myself included. If I heard someone listens exclusively to Depeche Mode, The Cure and country music, I will give them a huge mental . I may still like them as a person and become friends with them, but I will always consider them to have a horrendous taste in music.

Lounge Act is pretty awesome--Aneurysm has always been one of my favorites. I seem to like it more and more every time I hear it. They played some pretty kick ass live versions of it too! :first:
