listen2me 23 1,873 Posted January 30, 2009 all the girlies in the club go bump, bump, bump. Federer had Mono for the 1st few months of 2008 and still managed to make the semin finals in every tournament, winning the US open. 19 tournies in a row he has made the semi-finals In the finals at the Aussie Open this weekend. Rafa Nadal has done for Tennis, what no one in golf has been capable of doing. Every top 3 player of an era does that. Every era in tennis has a top 2 or 3 and they are in the finals or semi finals each and every tourney. Its not hard.
jocstrap 8 Posted January 30, 2009 Let me know when he has a couple of fractures and a torn ACL when he wins a major and I will listen. Federer's competition wouldn't lay down and give him the title with no fight like they do in golf. Tiger with a broken leg > than every other golfer in the world. Now that says a whole lot about the PGA.

Now that says a whole lot about the PGA. i think this says more about tiger as a competitor than the talent level of the PGA... i've been in this argument for awhile now, and you guys know that i've been backing tiger the whole way... but taking a step back and looking at this last year i think it is just impressive how great both guys have been when in less than prime condition... whether it be tiger winning a championship with a bum knee or federer competing at the highest level weakened by mono in an endurance driven sport... very impressive

jocstrap 8 Posted February 1, 2009 Fock - I set my alarm for 3:00am and watched that b!tch. Federer choked when he was up 0-40 to break Nadal late in the third set - GAG GAG GAG then two more GAG GAG's. Nadal gets credit for hitting some awesome shots, but in the end Federer knows he let this one get away from him. Fock Now on to the Superbowl

Fock Now on to the Superbowl near the end...federer still had more points won compared to nadal..but not at the right time...rogers serving let him down...the 5th set was a letdown... lets face it..rafa just came off the longest match in aussie open history to this one and STILL looked like he was ready to go for a run after...guy is a freak.. plus im still puzzled why he didnt jump on nadals second serve with a forehand..why stick with the backhand? either way...the best rivalry in individual sports continue..can roger win french? i truly doubt it..i have nadal and alize cornet wining that... wimbledon will be very interesting... will golf ever have that true solid #2 that threatens tiger every major?... Sho Nuff 720 Posted February 2, 2009 will golf ever have that true solid #2 that threatens tiger every major?... Maybe not...which is why Tiger > Roger. Either way...Id much rather watch a golf major...or just about any golf event...than any tennis event.
GettnHuge 2 Posted June 7, 2009 i'll bite yea, hahaha he could only win 7 of the last 8 pga tourneys he sucks LMK when federer wins a few french opens. Well, looks like he's about to get his 1st. Critics will throw out how weak his path was, nadal being injured, etc, but you can't pick your opponents, so they can stick that argument. A win's a win. Something Sampras never did. BMoney 0 Posted June 7, 2009 Oh wow. Some crappy little tournament without Michelson. Big whoop. wasnt even a full field....was it televised? id didnt see it anywhere... federer was able to withstand a spaniard running after him on the court ala seles...trying to get him to wear a hat...still able to complete the career slam... tiger gets p1ssed when u take a picture during a practice round...
